Posted: 03 Jul 2020 08:19 PM PDT I just finished my first fleet op, which was a nulsec roam. I just started days ago and I had no idea Eve could be this intense. I got more of a rush panicking and warping away and trying to follow orders than I did with an FPS. Friendly Corp members answered all of my questions and I am so excited to try more. Fuck yeah o7 [link] [comments] |

Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:44 PM PDT Finally, after implementing independent store for killmails and decoupling from zkillboard relateds api, it is now possible to create BR for multiple systems and custom timing. Any feedback about tool would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:54 AM PDT Its because of the bots man, simple.. I would consider myself a newer player, and the bots have ruined this game for me. I have been traveling, looking for good pockets of 0.5 space to mine in. Holy shit, system after system of empty belts, each decimated by the constant 10 or so bots in every system, picking it clean. So now not only do I compete with With player, but now NPC belt cleaners and long time players with bots that just sit and mine day in and day out. I get it, you guys like it, but this is not a videogame, this is literally just an old game with an insane cost to entry.... I know im new compared to most, but mining as a solo player is useless as this game is ripe with players who have locked every single mining oprotunity down.. It is literally too old, too well troden, too well figured out.. that is the thing that strikes me as I take jump after jump, looking for a mining home.. This game has no home for me, its just an old game, riddled by bots and people with too much of a sunk cost fallacy problem to walk away for good.. Enjoy your thousand person player base that somehow equates to 30k people when you wash out all the farming bots. Its just not for me. Im sure that a few players here and there can eeek a living out, but its truely not worth it, this game feels oppressed by its bottling population. I love mining in eve, but right now, all i do is fly around looking for a place that bots have not picked clean.. I think i quit. eve is fun, and the deepest game i can imagine, it is also hopelessly crippled by its entrenched way of supporting botting. If you want to talk with real people, if you want to join a corp of actual people. not HYPER rich assholes with 15 accounts and a god complex. if you want a game that is not full of bots.. play another game.. Posted: 03 Jul 2020 10:33 AM PDT o7 r/Eve! This is a big year for all of us because hopefully we'll see a massive, bloody, destructive war. Following this is a statement that all 10 members of the CSM15 agrees on in regards to this upcoming war. TL;DR - CSM15 collectively agrees that there will be no attempts by any member to influence change that will directly affect the outcome of the war in one's favor, we will advise CCP on developments that are introduced during the war, and of course we have no control over what CCP implements at what time. Statement of CSM 15 Regarding the Upcoming Nullsec Empire War In preparation for what is widely believed to be the largest nullsec empire vs. empire war in the last 4 years, the members of CSM 15 have issued the following statement: Recognizing that the CSM includes representatives from all three major nullsec coalitions as well as independent non-aligned members, and some of those members are senior level decision makers in those coalitions, the CSM met to discuss potential issues in the internal workings of the CSM as a result of this conflict. All of the members of CSM 15 are concerned that the implementation of major game changes that could impact the outcome of the war during the upcoming period of hostilities could damage the reputation of the CSM and its relationship with CCP. There already exists in the minds of many players the belief – a false one - that CSM members actively advocate in their own interests rather than the interests of the entire game. In order to combat that perception, all of the members of CSM 15 have agreed to the following:
As always, final decisions about any changes to the game rest with CCP, and, at best, the CSM provides feedback, guidance, and advice. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the developers, even while we're actively blowing each other up in the game. [link] [comments] |
