Posted: 15 Dec 2019 08:33 PM PST The other guy said it was going to be hard. Yes its kinda hard, but there is more or less a formula that makes it not that bad. Here is the payout of those sites. https://imgur.com/JzcrmDs The cost of all 150 T5 dark filaments was about 3.5 billion isk, so that takes a hearty chunk out of the profits. I used hawks (of course), but a fit that was a bit different than what the other dude used. In short, I value capacitor over resists, as resists do you no good if you can't turn them on. Notes for those who care: 50 sites yielded 4 spec skillbooks, 6 veles gun BPCs, and I got 2 of the 'special' sites that have like 15 leshaks (they were completed). I grabbed most of the extraction nodes, as they increase payout overall by about 30-40 mil per site, so it adds up a lot. 1/3 of the total payout is in red loot. I didn't keep track, but it seems about a 50-50 on if you get 50% reduced range or 70% reduced range. Anyways, have fun. I will work on the firestorm T5 frig setup next probably, but its much harder to multibox. I have done the sites a few times on test server as proof of concept, but I think I need to test it a bit more to get it more consistent and improved. The ships are a bit more expensive as well. Vexor Navy Issue: I have an Issue Posted: 15 Dec 2019 09:13 PM PST So im a new player and someone directed me to FW to learn some pvp. I got into a fleet and had a good time, hauled my LPs back to the nearest store to get me a VNI. Problem is that I have the LPs and grabbed a Shadow Serpentis Crystal tag from the market, but for some reason it wont let me purchase the blue print? Any ideas whats going on here? Posted: 16 Dec 2019 12:54 AM PST As per title. When reprocessing large amounts of ore (and modules) the cost for doing so is always charged to your personal wallet without any option to have it charged to a Corporation wallet. It would be nice to have an option to charge the corporation wallet when the output of the reprocessing is routed to a corporation hangar. In other words... whenever output is routed to personal hangar it will charge your personal wallet, but whenever it is routed to a corporation hangar there should be an option to choose whether you use corporation wallet (assuming you have the appropriate corporation permissions) or your personal wallet. I think this would be a nice improvement to something that feels like it might have just been overlooked. Thoughts? [link] [comments] |

Highsec Structures for invention and... Posted: 15 Dec 2019 09:25 PM PST Would it be alright putting up a structure for solo invention and research? I'm fairly certain no one is going to bother me but wondering if anyone has experience doing it? [link] [comments] |

How do I map the Stars if I can't See Them? Posted: 15 Dec 2019 08:34 PM PST Hi All, I've been exploring Eve for the past couple days, and discovered that while I can jump to and from systems with relative ease, I have relatively little idea what they are actually like. I was wondering if there was any third-party tool which might be a sort of EVE interactive atlas, ideally pulling data from the game live, or as close to it as possible. I don't need much fancy graphical polish, for obvious reasons, but i"d love a way to get a sense of what's in each system, even if it's just the stations and larger structures, and possibly how they interconnect. I know that the game itself has a lot of this information on the map, but it's graphical and obviously harder for me to access as someone totally blind. Any ideas on how best to conceptualize some of this would be very much appreciated. Even something as simple as a stargate browser, to let me virtually jump from system to system, would be great. THanks, all :) [link] [comments] |
I knew it would happen to someone with Hypernet... Posted: 15 Dec 2019 05:18 AM PST ...but I didn't think it would be me. Hopped online to see what this Hypernet thing was all about, and bought a single core to join in on the fun. Went through the fun little animation the next day, and was greeted by a gold screen and my numbers matching, so maybe that's just how the interface works? Nope, new Hel delivered to some lowsec station. Barely have the skills to fly it and never sat in a capital ship before. I'll be sure to post the lossmail tomorrow! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Dec 2019 02:00 PM PST Hi! I don't play Eve but my bf does and he is a big fan. I owe 'bubble my woooooormhole' to this sub and I still say it when I want his attention. I like WhatsApp Stickers and I want to make some for him, to annoy him a bit but also for fun. Could you guys help me with images or memes I can use to make them? I know he is in Volta and he is like 0% snuggly in the skillboard, if that helps. Thank you and happy holidays! [link] [comments] |
How do I stop the "incompetent and proud" eve-mails ? Posted: 15 Dec 2019 03:46 AM PST So I'm a newbro of about three months in the game, and this one newbie corp has been spamming me to no end with emails. I think I've blocked about 10-20 accounts, but they just keep spamming me. I'm already in a player corp that I like, and don't want to join them. does anyone know any way to stop these bloody spammers? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Dec 2019 09:53 AM PST For years I've been a carebear. Making isk, spending isk. I'm not much of a hunter. I've gotten a new job and have far less time to play anymore. I want to focus on making a real fortune in isk, without spending a real fortune of my work money. Assume limited time, and limited(ish) skills. I don't want to spend weeks mining to pay for game time and make no profit. I'm stupid so Market trading makes no sense to me. What's the best way to make isk with limited time. Thanks in advance for both the helpful information, the trolling, and the downvoting to hell I'm certain will come. [link] [comments] |
In it's simplest form : how do I deploy a POS? Posted: 15 Dec 2019 09:29 AM PST I found a mostly unhabitated very unactive Wormhole and I want to deploy a POS just to store a bit of stuff and use it as a temporary "safe". So of my understanding, all I have to do is to have the POS in Cargo, launch it next to empty moon and then I can just right click "Anchor" like I'd do a container or bubble and in a few minutes I'll have a tower running with a shield if I got some fuel in? That simply? And then once Im done I can repack the fuel and unanchor the tower, scoop back and be gone? [link] [comments] |
Ugliest or weird ships designs of EVE. Posted: 15 Dec 2019 11:45 PM PST IMO some ships on eve doens't look too realistic, with engines pointing to weird directions or turrets in weird positions, deformations. What do you think is the ugliest or weird ship of EVE ? Osprey navy issue aka saugage launcher: which missile launchers are apparently hiden by two barbacues that rotates ( why ) in their sides, not specially ugly but yeah a bit weird. Helios: This ship suffered of back pain ? tortured in the torture wheel ? Dancer with rheumatism ? Burst: That's even difficult to describe. A toad smashed by a car ? not sure [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Dec 2019 02:10 PM PST Hi, I am a noob and I finished the tutorial, career, SOE epic arc and completed some security missions, now I am thinking of moving all my stuff (which is still in my starter system, kinda far from everything) and I came up with a base plan: I want to have one base in the center of high security for missions and industry, preferably as close as possible to all the 4 empires I also plan on joining a null-sec or low-sec pvp coalition and want to have my second staging base in one of their bases where I will keep my main pvp ships Finally I want to have a mining/salvaging base in the middle of highsec and lowsec, maybe in the middle of my previous two bases I have already chosen my coalition and am now applying and don't want to get into mining yet, but where should I determine my main high-sec base for mission running? Thanks a lot for your time - a noob [link] [comments] |
