What's the best way to make money living in nullsec?

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 01:58 AM PST

So i recently joined a nullsec alliance and am curious what the best ways to make isk are? So far all I've been doing is farming relic sites and usually get anywhere between 60-100 mil every time I take my astero out for an hour or so. Is ratting in a VNI going to be the better? Or did the VNI get nerfed too hard? What about planetary interaction? I've never done it and have no idea how profitable it is, so I'm kinda curious if it's worth it.

Have they spoiled any upcoming promotions for the holiday season?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 12:11 PM PST

Or do we know if they are incoming? Recently returned to EVE and need to omega up some alts. That any i merged several accounts for ease (probably dumb) and so might want to add more alt accs to fill the gaps.

    Game is not Starting

    Posted: 24 Nov 2019 02:10 AM PST

The game just stays in a black screen saying "Login Complete Processing Bulk Data" and at the bottom left corner it says "Resource loading". It stays in the same instead of going into the game.

The logistics of removing attributes and neural remaps

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 06:55 PM PST

I know this is beating a horse that has been dead for years, but what is realistically stopping CCP from removing attributes and neural remaps entirely?

Seems to me that you could easily make the training implants permanent upgrades to a character rather than implants that can be lost. New players can then buy each implant when they are affordable and undock without worry. Removing training improvements entirely might not be necessary, as they give new players something foundational to work towards.

Instead of having an implant affect the training speed for a particular attribute, have it affect training speed across the board at reduced rate. By all means, keep the 5 slots, and have the full set of "+5" implants increase training speed by the same amount as it does now, just have it tied to SP per minute instead of being tied to primary and secondary attributes.

I understand that this would devalue implants as LP rewards, so why not introduce accelerators as rewards? I'm not sure whether this would ruin accelerators as rewards for events, but I guess skilling spree does that anyway.

I'm still very new, so I'm sure there are a lot of factors I haven't considered. Is there anything fundamental I'm missing? I would definitely like to be proven wrong so that this can stop frustrating me.

Ironclad Class tech II tier III Battleship

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 10:35 PM PST

"HURRAH, she comes! The MONITOR. "A cheese-box on a raft:" We're all right boys! of course we are, With such an iron craft.

She comes around the corner, too, Just in the nick of time, And saves the "blue-coats" from a grave Beneath the ocean's brine.

The flag is there, that good old flag. The stars and stripes so dear! We'll get on board and sign our names, Tis dollars, two, per year."

Prometheus class Ironclad tech II hyperion:

"And the inexorable Heaven, And the deaf tyranny of Fate, The ruling principle of Hate, Which for its pleasure doth create The things it may annihilate"

    Developer: Roden Shipyards

Roden Shipyards is the fastest growing ship manufacturer in the Federation, thanks to an extremely aggressive R&D division and extensive connections in government and military procurement communities. Roden ships are distinguished by strong armor defenses and excellent electronic capabilities. They also tend towards gunboats with exceptional range and tracking systems, and less reliance on drones than the average Federation warship."

    Ironclad bonus:

10% to large hybrid turret optimal range per level

7.5% bonus to large hybrid turret tracking per level

    Gal bs bonus:

10% to large hybrid turret damage per level

7.5% bonus to internal/incoming armor repair amount per level

    role bonus:

25% reduction in pg for large hybrid turrets

50% reduction in mwd sig bloom

    can use assault damage control.

    Thor tech II Maelstrom:

"On the wheels of our dreams The hammer of Thor Shall crack this fountain sky What words shall find The patient clock unwinds We live on borrowed time"

Core Complexion's ships are unusual in that they favor electronics and defense over the "lots of guns" approach traditionally favored by the Minmatar.

    ironclad bonus:

10% to large projectile turret optimal range per level

5% bonus to large projectile turret damage per level

    Min bs bonus:

5% to rof for large projectiles

7.5% bonus to internal/incoming shield reps per level

    role bonus:

25% reduction in pg for large projectile turrets

50% reduction in mwd sig bloom

    can use assault damage control.

    garuda tech II Rokh

"On the parchment of diverse red and white phenomena the bamboo quill of self-existent primal awareness and Knowledge inscribes baseless unattached ciphers liberated from the beginning creating images to be read in the space of co-emergent appearances and emptiness"

    Developer: Lai Dai

Lai Dai ships favor a balanced mix of ship systems, making them very versatile but also less powerful when it comes to specific tactics.

    Ironclad bonus:

10% bonus to large hybrid turret optimal range per level

5% bonus to large hybrid turret rof per level

    cal bs bonus:

10% to large hybrid turret optimal range per level

4% to shield resist per level

    role bonus:

25% reduction in pg for large hybrid turrets

50% reduction in mwd sig bloom

    can use assault damage control.

    abnegate tech II abaddon:

"But what is Hope? Nothing but the paint on the face of Existence; the least touch of truth rubs it off, and then we see what a hollow-cheeked harlot we have got hold of."

    Developer: Carthum Conglomerate

Carthum ships are the very embodiment of the Amarrian warfare philosophy. Possessing sturdy armor and advanced weapon system they provide a nice mix of offense and defense.

    Ironclad bonus:

10% to optimal range or large energy turrets per level

10% reduction to large engergy turret cap use per level

    amar bs bonus:

7.5% to Large energy turret damage per level

4% to armor resistance per level

    role bonus:

    can use assualt damage control

50% reduction in mwd sig bloom
