Question about a plan that I have Posted: 28 Dec 2019 01:30 PM PST Right now I convinced 2 people to join Eve with me, and I am thinking of all of us making a PvP corp. The main focus of this post is, however, that in the corp I want to do some gang nullsec PvP with the 2 other people who just joined. Right now I am thinking that one of us will fly a Dramiel, one will fly a Daredevil, and one a Catalyst. The Dramiel is for good offense, the Daredevil for defense, and the Catalyst just in case we need backup and to salvage. What are some good fits? Should I change ships? Replacement for NEAT Eve Accounting Tool Posted: 28 Dec 2019 11:32 AM PST I'm a returning player and did most of my ISK just station trading in Jita. I used NEAT only for one thing: To keep track of average price per item of my stock and from there to calculate my margin to aim for. I've been looking for similar functionality from other software and sites but either they are way too complex or just plain don't do what i want. Dedicated Marketing Channels Posted: 28 Dec 2019 08:11 PM PST Spammers, scammers & shit posters - Jita. Nothing says your in the trade capital quite like HyperNet offers & contracts being shoved down your throat, strangers being "back with another ISK giveaway!", and religious radicals condemning you to hell for being a sinner. With the recent overhaul of the wallet UI and the addition of the HyperNet, advertising in Eve (in my opinion) is starting to show its age. It would be really cool if CCP would create a new system for advertising your contracts, HyperNet offers and even market sell orders. Ideally, a new system should include: - A limited character count item description - A picture of the item being advertised - A four tiered price ranking system - A small fee (in the form of hypercores?) - A time delay between running ads - Be as visible/easily accessible as local chat I feel like this would cut down on HyperNet spam in Jita, add complexity & fit in well with the recent moves to modernize the UI. Local could still be used for your average scams but serious sellers would have a respectable way to peddle their wares that won't get them labeled as a spammer or a scammer.
