    What's Wrong With Pochven: A Triglavian's Perspective

    My thoughts on what's wrong with Pochven:

    No Missions agents, even though there are Triglavian NPC Stations

    No Combat Sites

    No Precursor data/relic sites

    No outbound wormholes, only inbound wormholes that can be found few and far between coming into Pochven

    Insta-lock rats that can hit from 500km away, and can continue firing over 10,000km away, including insta-lock while undocking from a station and getting killed on black loading screen

    No building capitals (even though this next Q4 expansion is all about capitals). If you are willing to transport the amount of material it takes to build a capital ship into T-Space, you should be able to build it. Also LP store sells the parts for a Zirnitra but you are completely unable to build it.

    LP Store pricing makes no sense. Low-Grade & High-Grade Implant BPC's are both 1,000,000,000 isk?! Who would ever pay that?

    No anchoring structures

    No bonuses to Triglavian Ore from Rigged Player Refineries

    Observatory Flashpoint site does not drop loot after the structure is killed, also does not give standing or an isk payout for completing the site

    Edencom & Trig Minor Victory & Fortress systems no longer have sites to run to gain standing on either side. Also now that response fleets have been removed from Gunstars & Wereposts, it is quite literally impossible to gain any sort of standing in K-Space.

    Standing increases for killing anything, including Rogue Drone Supercarriers is .001 or less. It is impossible to gain any sort of significant standing

    Certain gates in Pochven requiring 1.5, 3.0 or 7.0 standing to even enter those systems

    CCPlease fix this new area. This lack of content is discouraging to the players who spent months grinding engaging content to receive absolutely nothing in return. The radio silence is deafening as to what and when changes will be made to Pochven to improve life out here.

    When these issues were brought up to CSM, escalating for them to ask CCP about fixing this area, CCP ignored all questions and moved on to just talking about Q4 content and completely ignored and evaded answering any and all questions regarding Triglavian Space. As a player living here, I'm not sure what else to do other than post issues here and hope someone relevant sees it.

    Math behind Web Bubbles: Reinforcing the MWD HAC meta

    The web bubbles are an interesting way of trying to help ensure that the losers of fights suffer more losses, and providing interesting new ways for people to deal with speed tanking fleets.

    Unfortunately, the way they operate puts slower fleets at a much heavier disadvantage than faster ones, particularly fleets that rely on afterburners to mitigate incoming damage.

    1. Speed's uses within the fighting part of a fight

    Speed is used for two factors in a fight- managing transversal and managing range. MWD fleets generally trade transversal management for increased ability to manage range, as the signature bloom makes transversal matter less, and the larger speed boost makes range much easier to manage. For HACs this tradeoff is less obvious due to their MWD bonus- MWD HACs can mitigate a significant of damage from some sources like fighters and cruise missiles simply by going zoom zoom.

    Afterburners traditionally lent a fleet some much less improved range management ability, but in return do not bloom signature at all, making the use of maintaining high transversal and a decent speed a viable tactic for cutting incoming damage by large amounts.

    Due to the wubble's delay and size, landing it on MWD HAC fleets will be much, much harder than landing it on slower AB doctrines.

    This helps exacerbate the negative effects of the speed hit. AB ships lose significant amounts of tanking ability when slowed down by 30%, whereas MWD HAC fleets are only faced with such effects against certain weapon systems- most medium and all small weapon systems already applied to them well enough with maybe a few paints. Furthermore, in an AB versus MWD fight, even if somehow the AB fleet was clear and the MWD fleet was web bubbled, the MWD fleet will still be faster than the AB fleet and continue to maintain range control on their afterburning opponents, so that matchup is unchanged even in the best of circumstances for the afterburning fleet.

    1. Speed's use as a getaway tactic

    Speed also serves a useful purpose for leaving when fights aren't ideal. This can include gating away from enemies and burning out of bubbles, or pulling away from an enemy fleet (and their tackle/dictors) in the middle of a fight. This is actually one of the major complaints many people have about Muninns- even when you're beating them, the Muninns only ever need like 30 seconds to align sun, MWDs on, shooting nothing but sabres, and they'll be free and clear.

    An MWD muninn with links goes ~2500 m/s

    Many traditional 10mn AB cruiser doctrines go ~8-900 m/s linked

    A muninn crosses 20km in an additional 3.4 seconds with the web bonus applied.

    An AB ship going 800m/s crosses 20km in an additional 12.7 seconds with the web bonus applied.

    20km is, incidentally, the radius of a dictor bubble of the regular flavor. We've already seen some rather spectacular zealot whelps in this war because zealots struggle to clear bubbles off of themselves to extract- this change will help make that even more impossible.

    TL:DR- This further reinforces MWD doctrines (particularly HACs) over alternatives such as battleships, battlecruisers, and afterburning doctrines of all flavors (including AB HACs). We already have enough Muninns, please save us from the nightmare CCP.

    In a roleplaying game, you can do an adventure as a team. One guy is the healer, the other guy is a fighter, the next guy is the thief. You work together in a dungeon, fight the monsters and get the gold.

    Is there a similar dynamic with Eve Online? Can you work with friends together on adventures?
