    The post in question is this one, where Brave Member Kel Drosto assembles a Frankenstein of a battlereport in order to counter the Imperium narrative that "Papi neve take fights with even numbers"/"Papi gets dunked with only a mild number advantage".

    AAR: Papi formed to take a number of Ihubs, while simultaneously hitting a variety of Ansi's and Cyno Jammers. Goons fed here. Riding high, Papi then decided to go to M2 to extend the shinanigans. A couple of caps managed to jump out. Then because, #Yolo, Went to 1DQ where we killed a dread, orca and reffed the 1DQ Ansi.

    TLDR, Lots of targets were hit, and Goons fed. But they didn't want those ships, Ihubs, Jammers, Ansi's anyway right?"

    Taking a closer look, that battle report can be pulled into 4 separate engagements.

    Engagement 1 : Ihub/Ansiblex fight in YQX constellation.

    Papi drops dreads on an Imperium dread drop. Imperium form supers but realize that committing to the fight in YQX would leave the super fleet unable to react to a move on the M2- camp, and thus stands down and lets the overextended dreads die. Make no mistake, this was a good punish on an overextended and overconfident imperium USTZ that had been dropping caps out of M2 range willy nilly. However, this doesn't quite counter the narrative that "Papi only take 2:1 fights" since this fight was 2:1.

    Engagement 2 : Papi pokes at M2 camp and 1DQ structures

    Fresh off their victory in the YQX fight, papi pivots north to M2 to poke at the camp. Imperium responds by rageforming rokhs and supers while the M2 gatecamp fleet feeds dictors to fill in holes where the papi fleet killed anchored bubbles. The Papi fleet exited M2 as soon as the Imperium Rokhs bridged in, and went to 1DQ to poke structures while the Imperium fleet sat on newly anchoring bubbles. Meanwhile in 1DQ the Papi fleet killed a dread who warped to the T5Z gate for some reason, and an Orca that got caught warping between keepstars after already having been caught and freed just 10 minutes ago.. Then once the bubbles finished anchoring, Imperium bridged their M2- fleet back to 1DQ, at which point papi disengaged back to T5Z. This is an "even numbers fight" but also one that Papi didn't take, shown from the fact that Imperium lost no mainline DPS ships. It would have been stupid to take a fight in hacs against an equal number of battleships and carriers.

    Engagement 3 : Init killing a jump bridge in Catch

    I was wondering why this thing is here, then I realized that what this does is that it added 66 to the "numbers" on the Imperium side when those 66 never came close to the main Area of Engagement. The goal being to support the narrative that "Papi takes an outnumbered fight".

    Engagement 4 : Brave bombers killing an ansiblex and jammer in Delve

    In the vein of Engagement 3, I would have to guess these two systems were included to jack up the isk war on the BR.

    In summary we have

    1 fight where Papi lands a solid dunk on an outnumbered oppoment

    1 fight where Papi shoots some bubbles and idiots then leaves

    2 fights that were completely unrelated but added to the BR in order to nudge the involved numbers and isk war towards a desired outcome.

    Update: As suggested below, I've been able to find a few of them on EVE Who. Is there any way to find out which number got assigned to a character after their name was freed up?

    Alternatively, any way to see characters which were only ever part of an NPC corp? EVE Who does not appear to have those archived.

    I played EVE for a few years before finally winning shortly after the Pearl Abyss buyout was announced, and had my accounts deleted in late 2018. I was too burnt out to think about saving anything, so I didn't save any character portraits.

    I recently ran into a few capsuleers in the wild, including an old alliance mate, and that got me thinking back to the hours I'd spent in character creation (including one character my ex and I made together).

    I don't even remember all the character names. Of the names I do remember, I've been able to find a few on Zkillboard, but not all.

    Edit: I tried the Account Recovery page and received no email, and contacted customer support on the live chat and was told all the data had indeed been cleared.

    Winning eve for a few years

    So by now I've been playing Eve for 6 years from the casino war too WWB flew with amazing people in brave test TNT and goons which is why I'm sad that I have to win Eve but I'm starting a new chapter in my life starting with a 3 year paramedince degree at uni and as any broke uni student in any sort of medical degree can tell you I will have neither the time or money to play Eve

    Can you solo bash an Astrahaus in highsec/lowsec?

    I have run across a few different un-cored Astra's that are online but seem to be abandoned. They are dropped by a 1 man corp and I haven't seen him around.

    The lowsec ones are in dead end systems and I could do those w/o war dec but the highsec ones he would get wardec notice.

    Can you solo bash an astra? What do you need?

    I've been doing a lot of flying in FW recently, and I'm having a really hard time of it.

    I've been flying a scram/double web AB/auto/small ancilliary rep firetail with an ambit extension, a BA, and a nano accelerator. Nos in the utility high to keep by ancil turned on.

    I've been getting positively stomped.

    It seems like the only navy frigate I can fight is a slicer. , because it's a kite ship and if it gets caught on the button it's going to die. I'm hoping for some input here because frankly feeding 100+m per evening is not particularly fun and it makes me yearn for death. I'm going to write down my experiences against all of the navy frigates(tech I's haven't proven to be a concern) and hopefully some input/corrections will appear to maybe give me some hope

    Navy Slicer- I win if I catch it and can orbit

    Navy Crucifier- a rather hard counter. I need to get in close in order to get under the lasers, but orbiting so close and fast with bonused TD's on me means that I get chipped down eventually. Range control from two webs means I can run away, but I cannot contest one for a plex

    Hookbill- way too much damage within scram range, fires into my kinetic hole, has more utility in the middle than I have. Just running away seems like the prescription

    Navy Griffin- I have yet to encounter one

    Navy Maulus- see above

    Navy comet- I am probably most frustrated by these, as I feel like there should be a way to kill them through smart gameplay. I won't discuss rail comets here, because kitty rail comets kill me 100% of the time due to the fact that it's safer to assume they're blaster, and if they're a scram-kite railgun fit they will just always be able to keep me away.

    Anyways, it seems like there's no answer to blaster comets. Even orbiting at 9000, my fusion/barrage still does less damage than long ranged blaster ammunition+drones. If I shoot the comet, I die to the comets drones, and if I shoot the drones, I die to the comets blasters.

    Vigil fleet issue- nobody flies this thing and it's no surprise why

    In short, I have to run from hookbills, I have to run from comets, I have to run from crucifiers. I can't contest slicers if they're already on the plex. Garmur's seem possible if I can catch them on the button, but that's just a gut feeling.

    It seems like autocannons are supposed to be one of the more flexible weapons platforms, with the ability to do OK at close range and OK at longer ranges(so, don't pick a long range duel with Amarr, don't pick a close range duel with gallente, pray that you have more dps against missiles), but it seems like if I'm orbiting a laser boat at 500, we're often trading evenly, and if I'm orbiting a blaster boat from far off, we're also... trading evenly. I've never had a fight with any faction frigates that didn't feel tooth-and-nail, it's never felt like I've prepped properly and set up to counter the ship, and won.

    I've tried the artillery firetail and that feels way worse, artillery tracking forces you to use "keep at range" instead of orbit meaning that slingshotting is very easy to do, as well as the fact that everything with superior tracking will be hitting harder and more frequently.

    I feel like I shouldn't be losing to blaster ships at a range of 9k, I feel like I shouldn't be losing to laser boats at a range of 500, and yet I do, and aside from "buy a worm lol" I haven't been able to figure out a solution to this problem

    Which race for carrier??

    I have good fighter skills now, but i have not trained carriers yet! Too poor to train all races... Which is the best 1 race to train?? Thinking for all purposes, pve, large fleet pvp, solo pvp (lol), supers!?!?

    Have always been drawn to amarr but again don't want to buy all races!

    Need help with the Gila

    I took a break about 10-12 months ago and before that I remember easily running a 7/10 or 8/10 with a gila, I used T2 med drones with the correct damage types and never lost a single one, now I'm trying again and the drones don't even make it back after killing 3-4 destroyers/frigs. I'm using the same fit, am I missing something? Did something break? Is there a new way to use drones that I missed?
