Unpopular opinion : Skill Injectors are not an issue, the way they are usable is. Posted: 10 Nov 2019 01:09 PM PST As title says. Skill Injectors are good, the way they are usable is not. In a game like EVE Online, you can't just indefinitely sustain a model where bittervets are over everyone, it's just unhealthy and drives new players away. Last year for corp Secret Santa I was picked a fairly new guy that was playing since under a month, best doctrine ship he could pick would be a shitty Frigate. I gifted him 2 large injectors which made it possible for him to jump into no less than 3 new doctrines and spent nearly one entire week thanking me everyday because he finally started having fun. The issue is the ability to instantly inject a Titan or a Super. Injectors should apply something like "Injection Fatigue" which needs to cooldown between uses or reduces further the number of SP gained while on CD. Or make Capital Skills a category that is not injectable. [link] [comments] |

Sabre Futures continue to rise in Northern Regions as Demand Increase Posted: 10 Nov 2019 11:14 AM PST \*the following is a direct leak from NC. Alliance chat and does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of NC. members or the alliance as a whole**** [4:20 AM] Jesus Rambo: It's Saturday night. I've just spent the day avoiding having to interact with anyone. I'm kicking back, watching my Gatorade bottle slowly drip water into my case. It's been nearly 12 hours since I got stoned, so I push back the imminent sobriety with a joint and try to help with some braindead mining in 0-U. I ask on comms for a cyno and nobody replies, which is great because frankly I'm too ripped to be undocked anyways, so I get a good slouch going and fire up League. As my game's ending, some dude is on comms saying he's out solo in his Hel and there's a small gang in system with him. He asks if he should fuck with them, and obviously 🅷🅴🅻🅻 🆈🅴:a:🅷 :b:🆁:o2:🆃🅷🅴🆁 . The Hel gets bubbled, and is engaged by a handful of cruiser and below subcaps, but they're bubbling him and undocking dreads nearby. We start working on scrambling FAX for him, and he gets inhibbed. He can't get the cyno up in time, but shortly after he manages to frag the inhib. The mind of a **** is a labyrinthine maze of c**koldry. Around every corner, the potential for boldness and victory is threatened by the allure of betahood. But like the rushing tide, as **TZ comes, inevitably does it go. And when the murky tides of peasantry and fear recede, they leave exposed the rugged strength of USTZ. Led by our bold Texan FC we dropped all our supers on them, backed by FAX and with additional caps midded for support. As the Guardians of the Tendies led their Muninn fleet past us, a glint from the window of a Nyx caught their eye. The anchor pulls their fleet closer, revealing a pasty pair of capsuleer buttocks pressed against the window. Jesus Rambo: Sort Dragon tumbles in his sleep, reveling in lucid dreams of feeding. The hairs on his legs slowly prick up as his hand slides down his side, teasingly approaching his manhood. Though in his sleep he is unaware of his own narcissistic nocturnal romances, his subconscious connection to the GOTG FCs has never been more primed. A finger slides under the waistband of his briefs, and a Vexor lands at 0 on our fleet and dies. His hand gently pushes aside his own pubic Schwarzwald, and the moment it touches his shaft, the first Sabre warps. With each stroke of his knurled hands, another wave of Sabres warps, each feeding to our supers as hard as the last. Their reinforcements begin to log in, and their handful of Muninns continues to orbit us, artillery fire forcing us to keep pulling and relaunching fighters. Although many Bothans died to bring us this AAR, we aligned off the supers and FAX, and continued smartbombing and Fibo-bombing Sabre bubbles. Channeling my autism into a wild spurt of pure mathematical triangulation and deduction that would even leave Rick and Morty fans stunned in their own ignorance, two cloaked Sabres fall to the questing dongs of my Templars. Another bead of sweat drips down his head, leaving a trail in the grime and blurring the ink on the pages, interrupting his writing. "What the FUCK is going on out there??" he screams into the bustle in the hallway, but it falls on the deaf ears of those already deep in their own tasks. He looks at the top of the page, at the words he's learned to loathe. "SABRE (Item Exchange)". He's filed dozens in the past half hour, barely keeping up with the sudden unexpected demand. He angrily shakes his head, but his saving grace is before him. The once-towering stack of Contracts is down to the last page. He stamps it. The last Sabre warps on grid, and pops. We warp off to a friendly Astrahus in system, and jump out to staging as soon as we land. [link] [comments] |

3 months in, curious to see what everyone thinks about some UI changes. Posted: 10 Nov 2019 02:02 PM PST So in the course of 3 months, ive ran into a few things that kind of irritate me. Thought id bring some ideas for changes and see what everyone thinks. Some are minor problems and others can be a bit more of a pain. 1)Auto stacking items that I transfer to my inventory. I do a lot of exploration and am constantly looting cans. Itd be nice if i didnt have to right click to stack all items to get them to organize themselves every time. 2)Multibuy from more than just the current station/single station. The ability to multibuy from the cheapest seller in the current region would be nice. 3)Selling items from within containers that are within a station. Can be a pain especially if i have things that I dont want to sell in my inventory but not yet sorted to a container. 4)A transparency slider for PINNED windows. I have two seperate windows for chats. One for a few channels i joined and one for local. I have the joined channels window covering the chat section of the local window. Like this. Allows me to see whos is in local while having access to the channels i want to be in and saves screen space. The problem isnt that visible in my image because I had to black some things out but the chat section of local blends with the player list of the channels i joined. Making it hard to see who is in the channels i joined. 5)The ability to synchronize Probe scanner information with people in your fleet. Being part of a corp that operates out of a WH, on occasion I find myself working with a corp mate scanning down chains. Itd be nice if there could be an auto sync feature with people in your fleet so its easier to coordinate what signatures people should work on. This is all I can think of right now off the top of my head at the moment of writing this. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Nov 2019 07:56 PM PST So, I've been out the game a while. Was thinking just mash a few missions in my sweet sweet RNI. How's that fitted these days? Has it changed? [link] [comments] |
Can you get new purloined sansha data analyzers from somewhere? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 04:23 PM PST The Echelon is a special edition ship. According to wiki one was given to every player in 2011. The Echelon is the only ship that can use purloined sansha data analyzers so I would assume those were gifted in 2011 too. But the market for them is too alive. https://i.imgur.com/9EdTt2Z.png Is it possible to get new purloined sansha data analyzers from somewhere? [link] [comments] |
Returning wormholer...state of wormholes? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 12:12 PM PST Hello Fellow Capsuleers I'm returning to the game after a 2 or maybe 3 year break. My last endeavours included low sec pvp, roams, small gang hot drops, and solo and small gang wormhole life. At one point I was running c6 sites solo in a completely mobile operation. A few months into it I started encountering a wormhole Alliance that was imposing a rent structure and enforcing them on every c6 and c5 I could find. Is this still the case? What is the largest wh alliance and Corp these days? I'm also looking to get back into some wormhole ops if anyone is actively recruiting? [link] [comments] |

Returning player, what's the state of Factional Warfare? Posted: 10 Nov 2019 09:38 AM PST I've never done much pvp in EVE, only a handful of fights here and there but I really want to get into it now and actually learn. I tried this last year and joined pandemic horde but it was never that fun, just joining massive fleets and being an "F1 monkey." So now that I decided to play again I want to get into more small scale stuff, mostly with frigates for now as they're easily replaceable and figured FW would be the best way to go about it. I heard Red vs Blue are in FW now, would that be good to join? Anyone know how active they are? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Nov 2019 12:45 AM PST Not Long ago, I heard a Story about Players blocking NPC vendors to push others to participate in a war. Can someone give me a rundown of the Situation? If that's true and what exactly went down. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Nov 2019 03:23 AM PST Anyone fancy enlightening me why TICKLE just handed over 90% of their space? Just seems interesting and want some gossip :) [link] [comments] |
Please upgrade the Proteus Offensive - Drone Synthesis Projector Posted: 10 Nov 2019 11:07 PM PST Right now the drone subsystem has split bonus. 10% bonus to medium hybrid tracking 10% drone damage and hp 5% to drone tracking and speed 6 high and 5 turrets. with 125mb and only 250m3 roombasically this makes the ship not that popular vrs other similar drone boats. I would advise the following: change the 10% from hybrid tracking to drone optimal range and falloff change the mb to 125 and up the drone to 400m3 upgrade the tracking and speed bonus to 10% per level remove the power grid bonus to hybrid turrets and replace with a 50km range increase for drones. keep 6 high slots reduce turrets to 4 [link] [comments] |
