    Diamond Rats Need A Buff

    The most under-appreciated and magnificently entertaining aspect of EVE, imho, is the diamond rat. They are absolute comedy goldmines and can provide interesting strategy alternatives- example is how Suitonia use to bait people in on mining diamond NPCs in some Delve systems. This was some of the funniest and hilariously impressive use of game mechanics I had seen in some time. The devs who worked to bring these diamond NPCs into the game deserve an applause and really go unrecognized for such a beautiful addition to the game.

    I'm hoping CCP continues to work on this AI and increases their ability to escalate with increasing might. Additionally incorporating ways to recruit them as NPC "fleet members" could add a bit of leverage to the solo / small gang gameplay. They are quite the threat right now but n+1 ultimately overcomes them. Giving them the ability to scale similar, but not nearly to the full magnitude, of their Sotiyo counterparts would be a great feature and something everyone could appreciate!

    What are you guys' thoughts? Diamond rats are easily top 5 best things CCP has delivered to EVE, how about you?!

    Very specific DC issues over the past 6 weeks, Please help.

    o7 Hello, I am asking for some help with a problem that has been going for many weeks now and praying someone on reddit might know the answer!

    Been having disconnect problems with the socket being closed but only in very specific circumstances that I have come across so far:
    - After a structure bash when structure is destroyed I will DC shortly after or while in warp to next
    destination.
    -Ratting a Haven in a carrier, Will disconnect after site is complete or during warp to next site/station
    -Ratting a Forsaken Rally Point, Will disconnect during the final wave spawn

    To make it clear these have happened on almost every occasion and seem to be linked together. I have contacted CCP and after many messages back and forth, they say that my network ISP has no known issues in connection with them and have said its most likely a software issue. I was also prompted to submit it as a bug report instead in game so I have submitted as a bug report in game and still awaiting to hear back from them.

    I have tried looking around the net for other answers and tried so many different things including: using google DNS, port forwarding, resetting router, disabling anti virus/firewall, changing anti virus/firewall, reinstalling Eve, fresh install of windows, changing graphics to potato mode and various other settings inbetween. As an additional bit my PC is more then capable of running Eve as I recently upgraded it 4 months ago, have had zero issues with any other games I have run it only seems to be this specific issue with Eve.

    None of these have worked and the problem is still ongoing. If anyone has any solutions or suggestions please let me know its honestly been so frustrating.

    Here's a no brainer. Why would you ever put a calculator in game that doesn't use commas? Even the cheapest dollar store calculator uses comma separators every three digits, but not the EVE in game calculator. How about some commas? Those definitely make it easier to tell what number you got at a quick glance.

    Reprocessing Modules Question

    So I round up a bunch of rat modules, go to reprocess, and it has an exclamation mark staying "not packaged and high value" item, significantly reducing it's refine value. The items are repackaged. Sooooo what do I do? I want the full value, but have no idea why reprocessing some modules just don't refine.

    Short background, I've lived in WH's, sacrificed many ships to BOB and provided blood for the blood god under the banner of old TEST and GOONS. I spent 6 years or more playing the game fairly hardcore and then "liquidated" all my Eve assets.

    Considering coming back, but as I was stepping out, I remember the infamous Fozzie updates and well, oof.

    Has the game moved forward in a better direction since than or have they kept going down the Fozzie route?

    Should I buy Omega?
