    Hello all.

    First,I'm japanese eveplayer(in B-PIX,CEO Rist Ozuwara) and first time write in Reddit.so forgive poor my english.

    SGGRN(FC errestrian) + TRC + friend vs Dock Workers(FC Predator Elite) + friend fight at Anka(The Bleak Lands).

    The battle was caused by the DOCK's Azebel was rfed by SGGRN.

    At the beginning of the battle, DOCK's Rattlesnake fleet was winning.

    Errestrian decided to launch 40 DN for destroy their FAX. Some DOCK's rattle didn't fit prop mod so they took all the attacks from DN.

    After that, DOCK left once, and when they returned, they put in a 20 DN.

    Errestrian also responded by releasing super carrier, so DOCK's DN started withdrawal.

    Battle ended,SGGRN lost 46.7b,DOCK lost 99.8b(include Azbel).

    GF all.

    If the now-banned ISK-farming botters are behind these DDOS attacks, can we give CCP some love?

    It's been speculated that the ISK-farming botnet that was recently banned is behind these DDOS attacks, as a form retaliation (correlation not causation). There might not be a way to know for sure, but it seems to be a reasonable explanation for why someone would randomly DDOS CCP servers.

    If this is the case, CCP deserves some love. Even if they have made some controversial balance changes recently, we can all agree botters are shit. They add no content to the game and only leech server resources. Banning them can be a tough business decision because, on top of losing vampire subs, you could risk the retaliation we're all experiencing. Not to mention a pissed off player-base.

    I know there is some speculation here, but if this is the case we shouldn't add to the fallout of the already tough (but right) decision they made. They are offering ship replacements for those lost due to server issues, which seems to be the best response aside from capitulating.

    This mostly applies to bittervets, so just a heads up.

    Recently, my best friend and I unsubbed our alts, consolidated our assets, and reworked our training queues - all to pursue a PVP based lifestyle. Man, the game really changed for us!

    I can't even describe how liberating it feels to not worry about updating PI, pulling burners, posting contracts or shipping things, and just play the game for fun. We joined a couple cool squads in our alliance, started doing stuff with the home defense group, and now respond to most fleet pings. Going this route has revitalized the game for us. We feel like we did when we first subscribed 10 years ago.

    The moral of the story? If you're in a position to, stop worrying so much about ISK. Stop trying to make the game like a second job. Having 40 mining alts will make you space rich, but if you don't even enjoy it, why do that? How much ISK is enough? Go spend some of that ISK you obsessed over and have fun. You don't even have to quit PVE, just selectively do the content you enjoy. Become an EVE boomer and retire. Go on fleets. Insure your stuff. File for SRP when you lose it.

    TL;DR - Stop playing the game to make ISK. Start playing to have fun. Consolidate and simplify. EVE will become fun again.

    Finally Quit EvE

    After 13 years, I finally unsubbed and gave all of my EvE-ly belongings to a long time buddy in-game. I can't bring myself to put the accounts into Doomheim but...

    After joining Horde/HOGs and being in almost every major bloc in game, WHs, High Sec and Low Sec, I decided the game is a giant fuck/bot/donut fest. It is not the EvE I remember and love. This post isn't important but I felt it was proper to say Goodbye!

    Started playing Eve about a week ago and have just been mining. I met a guardian angel through rookie help who wanted to teach me how to explore instead of mining. With about 15mil isk in the bank she helped me fit a Heron and I started scanning for wormholes in HiSec. It took me 45 minutes to find my first hole which had nothing but gas clouds. I wanted to quit and it seemed helpless but she kept pushing me to search harder. An hour of motivation later and I find a Data site which seems to be unprotected. I've now got ~150mil isk in Ancient Relics sitting in my item hangar. I've got no idea what they do or how to sell them but I'm much richer now, only due to the efforts of a veteran player motivating a newbro like me to keep on pushing. I'm absolutely loving Eve so far!!

    Lost control of my ship in abyssal

    I was doing a t1 frigate fleet abyssal alone using a Worm. (I used 3 calm gamma filaments to enter) When I entered the first room, I sent out my drones and started shooting rockets as usual but I wasn't able to control(move) the ship in the direction I wanted to; it kept moving straight upwards. I kept trying to switch direction by double clicking in a different direction, sending approach command to other objects and sending orbit command to the jump gate but all of my commands were ignored and the ship kept moving upwards until it left the little sphere that it's supposed to stay in. As a result, I've lost my ship and whatever I was holding in it (wasn't holding much tho).

    Has this happened to anyone? I submitted a bug report about this and also requested that I have the cost of my ship+fitting refunded but I'm not sure if CCP will do that for me.

    Sigh...

    *btw my 60~70mil Worm fit was a big investment for me as I only have 100 mil in my wallet...

    May start playing again/unwin eve, assets question

    This whole quarantine thing in the real world is driving me insane, been thinking I might come back to eve, at least for a while. Before I quit I got almost non-casual into it, and I know my main character is probably logged off in space in a rorqual, and definitely in an NPC corp.

    What options do I have as far as unloading my assets in null without being exploded upon login? Or are my assets doomed to be exploded in some quiet null system with no local chat?

    new zkill feature shows you the real world value of your loss

    First i was like "damn, such a good feature". But after seeing the real value of my losses it felt like cutting myself with a knife.

    You have to hover over the isk value field to see the conversion.

    Suicide Ganking?

    Does getting destoryed in a ship while the server is lagging eligible for reimbursement ?

    I was in a situaltion with where i was ratting and my ship would not respond to anything i was doing. I was forced to log out and when i came back i was in a pod. This happened to me earlier today. Thank you.

    Game very glitchy right now

    Started a mission, approached acceleration gate. Activate, but nothing happens. Next thing I know I am like 2 minutes back in time, approaching the gate again at 60km away. Get to the gate, activate again. Then back to the present, I am being attacked and hull down to 15% but manage to warp away before getting blown up. This was a level 2 mission so I guess I was lucky the rats were pretty weak. Don't think it is safe to take out blingly ships right now.
