    I started with an alpha to feel the game out .. liked it a lot .. so i went ahead and got a new account with a referral to get 1mio free SP, also added OMEGA.

    Within 5 minutes i had a GM private messaging me if i need help with something.

    No generic bullshit messages or copy pasta, this guy took 1 hour to ask me about what im trying to do in this game and then led me into the right direction.

    I almost didn't try EVE because i read that they sold CCP to the same company that owns BDO, but i tried it anyway and so far this was an extraterrestrial experience.

    I wish i started wasting my time in EVE 10 years ago rather then other games with less good customer support.

    What happens when the FCs die?

    I was watching one of the big battles last night and it was truly impressive how everyone in the fleets worked together. I honestly don't know how the fleet commanders can keep up with all the stuff going on at once, especially now that it seems like time dilation isn't a thing anymore?

    So what happens if the FC dies? Are there a chain of backup fleet commanders ready to jump in right away? Are there multiple FCs with all of the same abilities to broadcast and whatnot or does the game limit a fleet to just one head honcho?

    Note: the 2nd archon and the moros don't appear on the BR since they didn't get in on the JREX thorax kill, but if you look at the combat logs you'll see they're both there wailing away at my bastioned ass

    Been a few days since the fight, so time to shitpost. Got baited straight into a FIGL gatecamp 1 jump away from home (knew about a few sabres, hecate, mach, loki, and a nightmare) only to have an arazu decloak and cyno in two archons and a moros. Lucky me moros was T1 HAW, so I wasn't going to die instantly.

    TL;DR: True Sansha Smartbombs saved the day by slowly defanging the fighters. Once all the subcaps either died or left the grid, I started hitting the nearest archon. When the last bubble expired, all three caps jump away - I go bastion red, dock up, and go to the bathroom before I shit my pants.

    Would have been nice to record the fight, but I play on a literal potato.

    first time doing C3 sites, question please

    So i just did about 45min of C3 combat sites in 2 RR Domi's, and i only made around 120m, i think my damage was ok, tank and cap held just fine, did 3 sites, what am i doing wrong?

    also, 1 site had just 1 wave, but no wrecks, is it possible someone did part of the site and left?

    i did not salvage btw, this was my first trial run.

    any advice to optimise my game? we are a small corp, maybe 4-5 active people at once, we know how to rage roll and keep hole control, but i would like to find out more about sleepers and how to optimize my isk/h since i dont have much time to play per day...
