Posted: 10 Sep 2020 05:32 AM PDT It was a mistake to play with you guys 4-5 years ago where you were nothing but hostile during the few fleets I ran with you. After you laughed your ASSES off about me getting lost during your fleet as a new player and getting a PM that I should just let yall laugh at me for my noob mistake instead of defending myself, I quit the game for a good couple of years. It wasn't until I rejoined with a different crew that I realized it was just bad apples, not at all indicative of the Eve player base. Fuck you guys. Fuck you for keeping my personal email on file for your pixellated emergency and for thinking that contacting me through that was actually going to give you the result you wanted. See you in New Eden. [link] [comments] |

Judgement Day was 3 years ago today Posted: 10 Sep 2020 10:51 PM PDT Man the years go by quick, feels like 2017 was just last year. Also screw you Judge for taking away the inevitable supercap battle between co2 and test. [link] [comments] |

Where is the BIG Money in EVE? AKA What Do New Eden Warren Buffets Really Spend Their Time On? Posted: 10 Sep 2020 08:31 PM PDT My first bil came from COSMOS. My first hundred bil came from distribution (excel) magic. But I don't see the path to trillions. Ratting can potentially bring in 100s per hour, as can incursions, exploration, hauling, mining, etc. Ninja marketing can bring in 1b per hour (of actual work) sometimes, but I've found it is absolutely limited by the absolute number of rich fools present. Is there a next level to "tycooning" or manipulating wealth, or is grinding the millions as good as it gets (per minute)? I could get into mineral processing, industry, etc. but I only hear than margins are just as slim as any other profession. Let's talk wealth! [link] [comments] |

Breaking: Botting Empire to expand sov into Vale of the Silent and the Forge Posted: 10 Sep 2020 10:06 AM PDT Taking advantage of being blue to the majority of Eve's null-sec coalitions during the current Goon War™, cancerous alliance Fraternity has decided to expand its sov-empire. The Whiny the Poop Bear loving alliance leader, Nor-ass, has, unbeknownst to his WinterCo subordinates, coalition partners, and temporary allies in he Goon War™ decided it is a good time to expand in Vale of the Silent. In a move that violates a pause on Sov space acquisition outside of the Goon War™ theatre the vast regions of Branch and Tenal, where no human Eve player operates, were not enough for this reckless and ambitious wallet warrior's botting empire. In a move that is being described as nothing short of ungrateful and betrayal by the human Eve players and small groups who reside in Vale, the whole region has been put on notice of their imminent eviction or subjugation. These residents of Vale of The Silent are the same human players that like to fly cruisers, battleships, and an occasional blingly beast while shooting spaceships in fun loving glee. In a move portended by the audacious move of anchoring a Keepstar in the Guristas mission running NPC system in Tenal, Vale of the Silent will become Fraternity's newest conquest in it's AI devised strategy. Vale of the Silent will be spammed full of structures in a planned economy and infrastructure that slowly conquers all trade in the Forge. Who could say fully what the plans of this perverse group of invaders are? What will happen when their Horde/Legion enablers catch wind of their nefarious plans. Make no mistake Tribute will be next and when when all of the north is in their hands they will be in a position to abandon Oasa and their PandaFam coalition, going it alone, holding all of the north in subjugation and socialist dystopia. How will these moves be interpreted by the Goon War™ coalition? Rumor persists that FI.RE and Legacy will resume their war against PandaFam following this war. How will Horde and Legion feel about defending their coalition partners as they deceptively and sneakily withdraw from Oasa leaving their eastern reaches ripe for invasion. Stay tuned for forthcoming updates! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 10 Sep 2020 05:19 PM PDT I was killing an astrahus a while back and I thought to myself aren't there like hundreds of thousands of people who live on that station? Kids, elders all people just trying to come by without fancy capsuleer technology death is permanent to them and I started to drift off and actually thought wow what a shitty thing that must be as like a kid who gets out of class when the alarms go off as you look out a nearby window or whatever and see a bunch of ships shooting your home up [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Sep 2020 02:47 AM PDT I've been thinking this for some time now, and in this lazy friday morning I feel I'm ready to discuss the matter. Here's the thing: when you die in Eve, your brain gets scanned and immediately afterwards it's printed (for lack of a better word) on a new clone of yours. This new clone has all your memories, all your skills, is exactly alike the you that just died, but is it really you or is it another person? Is it your memories and skills that make you you, or is it something else? I don't want this to delve into religion or anything like that, but I guess my question is are capsuleers really immortal or do they just live a multiple short and dangerous lives? We live in a time where capsuleers "immortality" technology doesn't seem that far ahead in the future (see Altered Carbon, Upload, Black Mirror and a bunch of other similar stuff), but would you personally accept to die IRL if your conscience, memories, etc were to be uploaded to a new body? T6 abyssal first impressions from an abyss farmer Posted: 10 Sep 2020 05:35 PM PDT been testing out the new T6 filaments a fair bit and so far the seem like an interesting concept but imo could use some tweaking... first off is when I did test with doing both dessie duos and frig trios, the newer waves hit way too hard for the sites to really be viable with either setup, like the sansha waves just eat nergals alive and the kiki+drek waves also just seem to vaporize anything below a cruiser that gets within their effective range, when testing with nergals, hawks, kikimoras, and jackdaws.. all 3 comps struggle against that particular wave as I have noticed the dreks are able to track insanely well and are able to consistently land 2-300 damage shots on frigs with over 1.5k transversal to them, I have also noticed in those waves that the RR is extremely powerful and even the nergals which are great for killing high tank targets struggle to break the reps in those sites, granted they usually don't live long enough to break them.. when testing with cruisers I did notice that the incoming damage wasn't as big an issue compared to the frigs/dessies but the rep power the rats had made it iffy at best as to if you'll actually complete the site. No longer able to undercut by 0.01 ISK Posted: 10 Sep 2020 05:15 PM PDT Hello, I've started playing EVE again after like 3 years, and tried to sell some stuff I had lying in the inventory. However, it seems I'm no longer able to undercut by 0.01 ISK? The game auto-corrects it back to the original value. After some experimentation, it turn out, that every item can be undercut by different amount. Where could I read more about this change and get to know what are the new "rules"? [link] [comments] |

Triglavian and EDENCOM reward clothes (full) Posted: 11 Sep 2020 03:16 AM PDT |
Posted: 11 Sep 2020 03:05 AM PDT Hi everybody, i'm an old but new Eve Online player, returned to play since 2008 and with little experience in missions. Back in the day I was purely a miner, now playing with a bunch of friends we are enjoying doing missions (mostly level 4 as a couple of us have battleship, I'm still grinding ISK on a BC tough). I'm posting here as I have a doubt: what to do with mission loot? I always sell scraps and salvages but with the tons of other items I don't know what to do. What do you do with them? You keep them to equip other ships? You reprocess them? You sold them at any price you find on your homebase (after all even a small profit is better than no profit)? Thank you and fly safe :) m.
