    Small Jackdaw Fight in D-3GIQ

    First fight I've FCed in a little while, we formed jackdaws because the PAPI group of 30 jackdaws was picking off our hackers.

    Warped onto the IHUB, blapped the hacking drake, then it was a good ol shoot off.

    Props to the PAPI FC on not blueballing us even though we had slightly more jackdaws.

    I almost got immediately headshot - but logi caught me at 75% structure, which was a butt clenching moment for sure. Looking forward to more fights in the future!

    Now that Jita 4-4 is done... it would be... a shame if... we moved all our trading elsewhere...

    By now Everyone has seen the glorious new and shiny version of the Jita tradehub. I think we should thank the people that created this masterpiece by protecting it from the wear and tear of our capsuleer activities and instead move all of our trade to the other Jita 4-4 which looks just like the old one!

    The station I am recommending is on the same grid and just 900km away!

    • It even has a clonebay unlike our new and shiny tradehub.
    • No industry, but the costs for that are too high in Jita anyways.(Edit: a point has been made that it can be profitable to do industry in Jita)
    • No billboards! as much as I like the new station design those are a bit excessive
    • The bars are open and the Quafe is plentiful

    Also during this pandemic, social distancing is more important than ever. With the current trade hub overloaded with capsuleers, we need to seek for other locations.

    Crimson Harvest event bringing content to Lowsec much appreciated CCP

    I'm not sure how many of you were around in lowsec for the duration of the Crimson Harvest event (mainly Devoid, Bleak Lands, Metropolis), but I honestly had such a great time with it. It created such a continuous stream of content that the day after it ended, I am sitting here in station bummed out that everyone isn't still out and about, whether it's solo, small gang, or large groups - either looking for content or for sites to run. The event and the presence of these combat sites were a noticeable catalyst for content and it felt very lowsec. Maybe after CCP is done rearranging the assortment of space rocks they can look at either changing/rebalancing/adding combat sites like these in lowsec, but I doubt it. That is something I could get behind and appreciate, though. Giving us rocks to mine was pretty fucking meh. Giving lowsec combat sites would be good flavor imo. The fact that it took either a pretty blinged out HAC/BC or a BS to run these sites was a good call and even though it was a little annoying at first I really liked the drone hate shown by the npc. Killing the tackle frigs quickly in case you needed to escape quickly was important and given all the drone hate it wasn't always super easy to always be timely about it.

    One story I will share about this event, which is one of my favorite pvp experiences so far happened on the second or third day of the event I think. I made about 10 jumps to run an escalation in a sleip I had fit up to run a large pith x sb and be cap stable. I also had t2 shield links and a set of mid grade crystals along with a standard blue pill and a hardshell, which ended up being a smart call... Upon warping into the escalation I see a gnosis on d-scan getting closer. For those of you who don't know, when you warp into the escalations for this event it shows up on everyone's overview like a fw outpost - so everyone can see it and warp to it. Seeing that he's about to land I warp off thinking there's probably more not far behind. I consider my options for about 5 seconds and warp to a station and refit to a scram and then warp back to the escalation and clench my butt cheeks. Gnosis lands not long after and gets tackle. Local spike. Alright here we gooo.. I burn through the gnosis decently quick and about the time he dies a scorpion and magus land. I tackle the magus and kill him then move onto the scorpion. By the time the first scorpion dies, there is another gnosis, another scorpion, 2 exequror navies, a rapier, a blackbird, and something else on grid I can't remember. It ended up being like 9 ships in total I think. Long story short once the rest of the gang lands I have trouble killing anything else between the black bird landing jams and the rapier keeping me webbed. The second scorpion ended up being tackle fit with triple XLASB (saw on zkill the next day after he lost it) so that wasn't going down anytime soon with my applied dps. I'm not going anywhere and they aren't killing me so I ask for some help on coms and 2 or 3 corpies make the 10 jumps in t3d to help out. Once they land we start shaking things up a bit and the other gang's ships start warping in and out of the site to avoid the insurance mail notification ping. The other gang warps a domi on grid and at this point I'm thinking its probably time to go, so I align out and luckily that second scorpion wasn't paying attention so I pull enough range to warp out and dock. Cigarette time.

    I'll also say this. If you afraid to lose ships you'll miss out on a lot of fun. Don't listen to people in your corp who want to protect the killboard, as I've been in that situation before. Fuck em. Don't undock what you can't lose and don't protect other people's fragile hubris. If you aren't losing ships you are aren't going to learn anything. Win or lose there is always a lesson to learn or reinforce.

    Ok. So in station I can fit my ship. I have hear about refits. Like warping to a spot, setting up some safe warps and refitting on the fly. How do you refit without going back to a station?

    Do I carry the things in the cargo hold and somehow equip them during flight?

    ESS creating more tidi?

    Wile moving with like 600 dudes in delve we got tidi down to around 14%. We noised that we got 2 ESS messages every single jump. 600 dudes getting 2 extra messages each creating more tidi?

    Before the patch today moving in this mass created tidi down to max around 70-75%. This is a insane increase in tidi from just 1 patch. Might just be system mapping fucked up after the patch as well tho. I am just guessing here but seems iffy.
