A Gurista pirate claiming his share of the loot after a successful raid, explains to another pirate his plan to start a business back in Venal selling toys at a markup. "I can't confirm or deny that…" The Guristas have a contingency plan for everyone, even those that go out of their way to support them. Utatis Parinen, disgraced Dread Guristas is given one last shot at redemption by spying on the growing economic movement in Venal. "I own a limited edition Clear Skies box set." A Gurista looking to start up his own Holo-Theater in Venal sits down with a representative of the Prosperous Venal Depository to secure a loan for his business After receiving a sever threat from the Guristas and laying low for several months, Suha returns top-side to resume operations in pushing economic progress in Venal. As easy as the Capsuleer market is easy to exploit in Venal, the same applies for the common man. Utatis Parinen is sent to negotiate for the release of some essential medical supplies that were bought up by a local Casino owner to gouge for a profit. The Triglavian Invasions have left the Caldari State in a whirlwind of civil unrest with citizens taking up arms to vent their frustrations at the government that has failed them. A perfect opportunity for the Guristas to sell some weapons to the aspiring revolutionary movements springing up. A new branch of the new and radical Sedevacatist Amarrian orthodox church church is opening up in a corner of Venal, which earns the attention of Suha and her immediate staff. It didn't work, mainly because we had like four destroyers. It was a ton of fun though and nobody got hurt* I suspect pirate FOBs exist to make you want to do PvP. | Should FRT get a GOLDEN TICKET? Posted: 10 Jan 2021 04:12 PM PST So if you have not heard, yesterday, the great Mittens, declared that a single alliance will receive a GOLDEN TICKET. To clarify, one alliance with Titans in M2 will strike legal and binding terms with Goonswarm to safely extract titans and other capitals from M2. Only one alliance and it excludes TEST of course. I immediately put FRT up as my choice for two reasons: we have the least bad history with them and I sympathized with them after Pittsburg made a racist joke on their discord and then doubled down. Should Goons choose FRT over PH or PL, which undoubtedly has done more damage in Delve, in what could be an investment into FRT future? And even if FRT is welcome to strike a bargain with Goonswarm for their superfleet, would they even consider it with the risk of alienating their current blue donut coalition, which could turn their eyes onto FRT if they bail from this war? The cost of evacuation will be much higher than the propaganda will admit, second M2 timer demands such expectations of losses logging into VASTLY superior grid control. [link] [comments] |

| Super confused with missiles (abyssals) :/ Posted: 11 Jan 2021 12:00 AM PST Hey all, new player here, be gentle :) I don't know and can't find a proper guide anywhere which type of missiles to use.. I get it that if I run lets say Electrical abyssals I should use EM dmg type missiles but which ones? Precision, Fury, Caldari Navy...? I understand that Precision ones are better for small targets, Fury for bigger, but I can't really reload them every now and then in abyssals, because reloading eats up 35sec of precious time. What about Caldari Navy missiles, why are they so much expensive then other, are they really that better or? Why? Also, which dmg type (EM, Thermal etc.) to choose in other abyssals like Dark, which doesn't have resist penalty? Btw, I tried doing T1 in Kestrel, but Overmind spawn takes me forever to kill, I run out of time.. any idea how to handle them better? Thanks in advance :) [link] [comments] |
| What happened to NC./PL's elitism Posted: 10 Jan 2021 09:17 AM PST I see nowadays NC./PL side (along with papi) struggling to beat Goons even when they outnumber Goons slightly and usually lose when fighting Goons on even terms. Is it that NC/PL lost their elitism or did the Goons improve so much after fighting papi consistently while being outnumbered? I am seeing Goon FCs outclassing NC/PL's during many battles that takes place. So what happened to these 'elites'? [link] [comments] |
| questions about solo hunting in wormholes Posted: 10 Jan 2021 10:14 PM PST just wondering, how easy is it to find targets in wormholes? i fitted out a neuting legion and hoped to find a ratter in c1-c3 wormholes to gank, but i spent close to 4 hours and found nothing at all, not even NPC wrecks. all i spotted was a scouting cheetah.
