Goonswarm's heckcamp gets a bit boring, so Imperium Titan pilots start accepting fleet invites in 1DQ.

    "Battlereports" available here:

Meanwhile rest of Delve has been receiving a nice toasting by flamethrower. Two systems in heck deep have received an ihub toasting while an Imperium muninn fleet got camped into an uncored station. In addition to this, the daily bubblewrap popping has been going on and providing some content for both sides.

Only our 4th filament roam so go easy. But even though our killboard is very meh, we are having tons of fun! One day we'll have enough people to get them killboard stats up. But thanks to Dunk Dinkle and Brave Alliance for giving us some form of content. It was a long winded roam for us, but it was made worth it to even kill that 1 cruiser. I just wish people could have heard the pure excitement on comms from the newbros!

Eve Partnership Program - Officially Sanctioned RMT? - CCP Supports People Being Ran Over?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 06:53 AM PST

As we all know the Eve Partnership Program was recently implemented. Touted as a means of boosting Eve viewership on Twitch and activity on other platforms. There have been questions about the selection of partners CCP has chosen. Specifically people had concerns over Streamfleet members basically having a free invite to the program. Torvald gave them special thanks in this message (https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/jx5efh/eve_online_partner_program/gcuekl8/) perhaps that has something to do with it.

Now it's time we take a closer look at how the Eve Partnership Program is currently being ran. Eve partner Rushlock has every CCP supplied scope skins behind a level 5 hypetrain paywall on Twitch (https://clips.twitch.tv/NeighborlySecretiveCaribouLitFam) . This means he's requiring about $40-$50+ of monetary gain to release a skin into the community which CCP supplied to boost Eve activity across platforms. Other Eve Partner streamers have advised that CCP gave them permission to give skins directly to contributors on their platform, this includes monetary donations apparently. So streamers can set monetary values for people to directly receive skins without moderation from CCP.

Does this mean that any of us average players can start advertising for $20 you can enter a giveaway on my discord for 2bil isk? Or is this a special privilege only available to the hand selected Eve Partners.

I reached out to CCP through various channels for comment and received no response.

Recently CSM member and Eve Partner Torvald Uruz decided to tweet the following: https://web.archive.org/web/20210125193718/https://twitter.com/TorvaldUruz/status/1353788977564831746

Some members of the community had issue with his Tweet and conveyed that on Twitter. When conveying their displeasure they also tagged CCP officials and staff who remained silent at the time. Yesterday Torvald doubled down on his stream (https://www.twitch.tv/torvald_uruz/video/898036073), clips are disabled so start at 00:59:50.

Do these actions fit within the community guidelines to hold these positions? Maybe CCP will finally step up and give a response.

    In conclusion:

It seems like the Eve Partnership Program is off to a great start. Sanctioned RMT for a select few, community guidelines being disregarded and CCP remaining silent. It appears another project was introduced by CCP without appropriate forethought and guidelines.

Some of you may be wondering why you haven't heard of these issues from 'Eve News' organizations. I believe the answer is simple, they currently enjoy direct access to CCP staff. They are unwilling to jeopardize that by asking the tough questions or pointing out real issues.

*** UPDATE *** Per a conversation below - /u/deltaxi65 - Brisc Rubal - claims that CCP Aurora confirmed that what Eve Partner Rushlock is doing is perfectly acceptable. Who knows why she felt the need to have a member of the community relay this information instead of doing it herself or through an official CCP channel. Guess the community she develops got a lot smaller since the Partner Program dropped. - https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/lbp73t/eve_partnership_program_officially_sanctioned_rmt/glwuqks/

Now we know that CCP has given the green light to every RMT/BOT service to just host paywall giveaways on Twitch. They don't care who receives the items only that they receive cash in exchange for them. They have an officially legal way to turn all their botting income into cold hard cash now.

No update on CCP and community guidelines for CSM and Eve Partner members. /u/deltaxi65 didn't ask /u/CCP_Aurora in their private conversations.

Freemen of the North - A Final Report

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 04:56 PM PST

    Привет товарищи (Greetings Comrades),

First, as always, we would like to plug our dope af cowboy bebop anime fan-fiction website: https://www.weemenofthenorth.com

It has come to attention of the NullSechnaya Sholupen Ministry of Truth that the "War in the North" has suspiciously not been receiving Really Cool Weekly Updates™ here on everyones favorite website (reddit.com/r/eve) so we have decided to pick up the slack.

The last two weeks have been what we call in our homeland "very sexual". With lots of "good fights" which is the most important thing to everyone at all times.

I cannot be bothered to find more actual fights so you will just have to take my word for it.

Also during these two weeks, we've seen the collapse of .UFC. as well as B0SS morphing into turbokrabs- needless to say the Wee Men of the North have found themselves... in a *pickle*.

Without wasting everyones time even further, the pinnacle and tipping point of this time-frame was the battle of M-O. Where the combined forces of "Dirty Blobbers and Small Alliance Fun Ruiner Coalition", NSH and FRAT, successfully put Rote and the rest of the Wee Men out to pasture. A dingo ate their baby, if you will:

    https://zkillboard.com/related/30000848/202102010400/

All of this seems especially funny given what Hels told NSH not too long ago-

    lol

The end result of this fight is a brand new big fat keepstar smack dab in the middle of Tribute. This is where we will all kiss each other and celebrate the "End of Eve as We Know it, We Swear this Time Guys" weekly get together.

Finally, we have taken the time to break down the last two weeks into a helpful diagram so as not to disappoint our faithful readers who enjoy this: https://i.imgur.com/5lTu0Hx.jpg

Thank you for reading and stay strong, friendorinos.

    New player with some questions

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 08:23 PM PST

I'm new to EVE, my dad used to play it and I would watch him a lot when I was younger and never understood how to play it so I'm gonna try it now, I only have access to the mobile app which I'm guessing isn't the best but I don't have a laptop or a computer so I'll make due with what I have atm. I was just wondering which race and faction would be best for PvE, I don't plan on doing a whole lot of PvP. If I can avoid it I will cuz I'm a wimp😂 but I was wondering which would be best in the long run and which is easiest for new players.

It's time for a definition. What does "I've got point" mean? :D

    Posted: 04 Feb 2021 02:58 AM PST

    "I've got point."

    This defines as-

"I have locked the target and have successfully applied my...."

    A. ... warp scrambler.

    B. ... warp disruptor.

    C. [A or B are both acceptable]

Politics? How likely to go bad?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 12:06 PM PST

I have three alts. Larry is mostly combat oriented with a smattering of all else. Curly is very new, all PI working towards mining. Moe is barely detanked. All belong to Corp A which is the principle member of Alliance 1.

Corp B also belongs to Alliance 1. Larry and Moe were invited to participate in the joy of a citadel and system in Corp B space. A dozen ships and accouterments were moved, and Larry has participated in virtually every (unsuccessful) fleet action by the alliance to secure null-sec space. In turn, Company B has made some very considerable investment in Larry.

The Alliance is having an amicable divorce. Corp B is becoming a newbro appendage to an established alliance. What I would like to do is move Larry to Corp B and leave Moe in Corp A.

What I don't know is this. In Eve is such a move seen as what it is: a painful attempt to stay friends with everybody and to not have to spend a man-week moving shit? Or does it make you suspect?

And if the amicable divorce turns hostile (possible)—are you then shunned by both and/or forced to choose? This situation is one I have carefully and successfully stayed miles away from personally and professionally. But here I am....

    Relationship between Bastion and MJDs?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 12:28 PM PST

I'm wondering if one can time it just right so that if they activate the MJD 9 seconds before Bastion ends, they can just escape? I know Bastion + MWD is a thing, but that doesn't help when the marauder is stuck in a bubble.

A concept solo Talos fit by yours truly.

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 09:27 AM PST

No, it's not the shield 2012 meme fit.

I've been winning Eve for awhile now, but still playing around in PYFA ever every so often and I came up with a fit that might be interesting for solo brawling in both low and null.

    Highslots - pretty standard

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Electron Blaster Cannon II, FedNav Antimatter L

Midslots - here's where things get interesting

100MN Y-S8 Compact Afterburner - the wild card of this fit. Lets you transversal match to smaller AB stuff, and GTFO against anything other than Serp ships (because of your dual webs).

    Stasis Webifier II

    Stasis Webifier II

    Warp Scrambler II

Lowslots - Also pretty standard for brawl Talos's

    Damage Control II

    Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II

    Energized Explosive Membrane II

    1600mm Steel Plates II

    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

    Rig slots

    Medium Transverse Bulkhead II

    Medium Transverse Bulkhead II

    Medium Ancillary Current Router II

    This fit has many strengths:

Can easily spit out 750 DPS cold with good skills and light drones.

Can track anything... literally anything... with a drop booster combined with your dual webs if you know how to transversal match.

    Nearly 35k EHP.

    1700 m/s with AB overheated.

Dual webs and scram to punish people thinking you're kite fit.

The ability to hit decently out to kiting range and force off annoying things.

The ability to GTFO against most anything AB fit, cause of dual webs and scram.

I honestly don't see any weaknesses to this, besides the highish price.

    Feedback appreciated.

    Edit: grammar

    The Spirit of Giving

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 09:12 AM PST

If I have <1 million skill points is it always worth it to start over with a referral account?

    Posted: 03 Feb 2021 03:46 PM PST

I've known about Eve since about 2005 and tried to get into it a few times over the years. Last year I made an account, spent about 20 hours on it, tried doing hauling, put together around 75MM ISK in cash plus a bit more in assets. Came back to Eve this week and heard that if you start with a referral you get to start with 1 million skill points in whatever you choose. I have only around 500k skill points so it seems like the right decision.

Is it really as easy as starting a referral account and mailing all the old character's ISK to the new? Is this frowned upon? Is this smiled upon? I can never tell with this game.
