Posted: 26 Mar 2021 09:25 AM PDT So a little over a month ago my wife had a c-section that didn't go well and 2 weeks later even more complications. The time I was planning to take off work kept getting longer and our finances kept shrinking. Eve has always been a place where you can vent your real life problems.... a few Corp mates asked me to make an Amazon wish list of things we needed for the new baby. Not actually thinking this would go anywhere I did and linked it in Corp . This morning box's of diapers started showing up ..... this means a lot guys . I don't think I'll ever stop playing eve [link] [comments] |
Titan would be worth around 200b ISK post-patch Posted: 26 Mar 2021 08:51 PM PDT Assuming the market price doesn't get adjusted later on, build cost of a titan could easily reach more than 200b++ ISK. I tried pulling some data from SDE and ESI to determine the build cost of an Avatar and here's what comes up: (warning, pretty long list of materials and the build steps, zoom-in to see the text clearer) Here's another one for Nyx: And Moros: p.s. the build cost includes all required jobs including reactions as well. also, if you have problems viewing the image you can also download the image instead. CCPLS Battleships are not strong enough to justify a complicated Bill of Materials Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:01 AM PDT Bottom text. For real thou, battleships, even after the small buffs they've received, are not strong enough for price to justify a complicated bill of materials like capital ships. Furthermore, a good point raised by Steve Rounken is that the new battleships require reaction materials, and you can not do reactions in highsec. One could say "suck it up", but tech 1 battleships have long been the learner's stepping stone to manufacturing, and having that path stop at battlecruisers is a letdown. [link] [comments] |
CCP, if you're going to completely overhaul industry, at least give us some tools to work with Posted: 26 Mar 2021 06:37 PM PDT As it stands, right now there are 0 tools in-game that help visualizes or even tells industrialists the pipeline needed to build a certain ship, especially with T2 and T3 stuff. The only way to do this is to manually go through every single BPO, Formula, Relics, or what have you. And even then it's infuriating to navigate through the UI. This is going to be exaggerated now that you have more ships that require multi-step building, like the battleships and capitals. I'm not arguing whether or not this is a good change. What I'm saying is that the reliance on 3rd party tools goes through the roof with industry, and the burden of forcing devs and players to overhaul their programs- lest they become obsolete overnight- is a bit ridiculous. Last Fortizar in all of Impass is down Posted: 27 Mar 2021 02:16 AM PDT The last Fortizar in Impass died uncontested some hours ago. https://zkillboard.com/kill/91738510/ With that 15 Legacy structures remain besides athanors Just as a reminder: 2 Weeks ago there were 37 Fortizars, 12 Sotiyo, 39 Raitaru, 12 Azbel, 15 Astrahus, 39 Navigation Structures (=154) [link] [comments] |

How much do ship prices affect alliances and their players? Posted: 27 Mar 2021 02:30 AM PDT Let me posit a completely hypothetical result from industry changes, in which the value-for-Isk of big ships goes down relative to small ones...
Does this affect doctrine fleet meta? Does it change enough to affect recruitment? E.g. do alliances that currently require a dread alt to join them stop requiring it? My gut feeling is that not much changes.
But I don't really know anything about this stuff. I'd be interested to hear speculation from somebody who does. [link] [comments] |
How do you create a corporation contract at a place where you don't have a corporation hangar ? Posted: 26 Mar 2021 06:37 PM PDT Illustration : https://imgur.com/a/hpAx7fg This person is selling a BPC by using his corp "Bpc R Ush" at Jita 4-4, but in the right bar, you can see he doesn't have an office there (so, no hangar ?) how did he create that contract ? When I try to create a corporation contract, it won't let me select the item because I don't ave a corporation hangar at this place [link] [comments] |
Reserve Bank keys are coming, ESS payouts up Posted: 27 Mar 2021 02:06 AM PDT CCP snuck in the following as a byline in the latest news story about industry changes: The Dynamic Bounty System will also see an increase in the average bounties across the universe. Finally, the Encounter Surveillance System will see an increase in the time to autopay contributors, as well as a decrease in time required to link to the main bank. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 08:00 AM PDT So I've been gone from EVE for a long time. Before I left, I had a huge collection of almost every ship available in the game, and moved all my associated stuff to highsec. I am surprised to learn that system is now owned by some sort of angry triangular slav aliens squatting on it. I no longer want it. It's got cooties. For real though, I have no intention of moving ships, ammo, fittings, etc, back to highsec. I would like to just sell it off. Give back to the players, firesale, help the people building up in Pochven. Not looking to make a profit, just trying to get rid of it. I can use the money to get back into PvP elsewhere. Given that it's in -1.0 space, what's a reasonable price to ask? Like... 30% off Jita? I don't even want to list all of it on the market myself. Too much effort. I just want it off my hands for a reasonable price. What kinds of groups operate in Pochven? edit: Seems like the interest is high. I'm at work right now in RL, so once I get back to the house I'll build an appraisal and auction and throw it up here. edit2: Hey everyone, thanks for the advice. Those who DMd me have gotten replies. evepraisal shows 69.59 Billion estimated sell value 49.98 Billion estimated buy value [link] [comments] |

Tl;dr Buy stuff as long as it is cheap Posted: 27 Mar 2021 12:12 AM PDT The upcoming patches will lead to three major changes in the Eve economy: - Currently streamlined production will experience a shock since the old formulas and supply chains will not suffice. The process of adjusting will take massive time and increases complexity. Prices for BS, Caps and Supers will rise. - The necessary resources required by the new BPOs and changed BPOs cannot be as easily strip mined as minerals and players heavily underproduce those currently. Scaling up production will take time. - The promised improvement on cap ratting and the hefty increase of the dynamic bounty modifier will see Isk generation go up drastically. This will lead to inflation paired with the above mentioned production shortages. Tl;dr: Get rid of your ISK and invest NOW! [link] [comments] |

Economic effects of industry changes Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:15 PM PDT So I'm speculating on how best to profit from these market changes. I'm thinking either buy supers, buy tons of raw resources required to produce caps etc, or hold PLEX. Please add more ideas or suggestions on what speculation might be best. [link] [comments] |
