    Its been a long day but what the hell, the other thread is full of speschul so i'll do an actual BR.

    Imperium forced formed in YZ-LQL in Rokhs, Cerbs, Nados and Bombers. Papi formed Muninns, Eagles, Caps, tackle fleets, Nados and Nagas.

    The INIT. Fortizar (This was not a staging Fortizar, we are staged in the NPC station and have been since we left Fountain months before), exited reinforce at 18:30 and was set upon by Phoenixes from range while the Papi fleets sat further back, covering their capitals.

    While INIT waited on the Fortizar tether, our allies finished killing some smaller fleets ships on the 75FA gate and Pando's bomber fleet returned after harassing the Papi fleets as they moved towards YZ-.

    When we were all on grid the INIT. fleet warped to 180km~ off the muninn fleet, aligned back to the fortizar and proceded to shoot PH. With our allies pinging in and out, the INIT. fleet was forced to MJD closer to the fortizar where we kept brawling with the hostile subcap fleets.

    After a second mjd brought us into the middle of the fort, hostiles disengaged and burned back to safety behind their caps.

    We made a play for a dread, warping in slightly closer and getting a Phoenix to armor before having to bail. This is the point i lost my monitor, a fact i was unaware of, but thankfully the loss mail got spammed in local quicker than Vily 1111ing a Keepstar.

    Docking up in station we reshipped to jackdaws as the fortizar died. We bounced around for the next hour grabbing kills where we could. Papi, upon seeing the might of our jackdaw fleet fled back to delve. It might also have been the fact they looted the fort wreck, but I need to include some spin somewhere.

    We managed to pick up the hostile fc a few jumps out and kill him after the fleet bridged out, he was a good sport about it having fallen victim to the Abysall MWD bug and therefore not being able to burn to titan before we bubbled it.

    INIT and allies lost 21b in ships plus the 15b fort - that makes 36b lost in total before any of you jump down my throat.In return, Papi lost just shy of 16b in ships. A portion of whom were unlucky stragglers.

    There were 730~ active participants on the Papi side, with 290~ on the Imperium side. There were roughly 120 Papi out of system, I believe these were caps but I am completely open to being wrong on this - if I am wrong please correct me.

    This Fortizar represented a potential fight away from everyone's capitals, so we took it regardless of the difference in numbers.

    I recently got neutral standing with trig specifically to mine in their space. Turns out there are lovely bonuses when mining in belts with trig turrets. 1 you don't have to worry about rats anymore. 2 if there is a Jove observatory, the turret attack those nosey sleepers too, when this happen you need MTU and 🍿 to enjoy the show. The sleeper will fight back against the turret which will then call in trig reinforcement that will kill the sleepers, if you are lucky a few trigs may die. Trigs reinforcement will stick around, guess what? It's not over yet!! Those sleepers also call in reinforcements in form of drifters. The fight can go either way, I've seen the drifters won, destroying both turret and trig ships then warp away(they lost BS and a cruiser). I seen trigs won as well, but you are guaranteed dank loots/salvage from wrecks left behind. 180m isk is most I got.

    Yesterday I got into my very first Orca! I was so excited. I even had a new corp, T2 drones, new kit n' fit, the whole 9 yards!

    I joined the corp, they are at war. 45 minutes into trying this new beast out and I lose it. The first one dropped in, and I thought I could take them. I have shield booster, nuts health, and really good drone skills. But hope started vanishing. Another showed. Then a third. On the day I got my new Orca, so quickly after getting it, I lose it.

    Sigh. First huge loss. Time to paranoia hide in my procurer with grief wine.

    Just some clarification on an old account

    Hi guys. I saw a post that Robskiwarrior had lost his battle with cancer about 4 years ago. I just wanted to say that the Robskiwarrior account was actually mine from almost the beginning of EVE and if anyone from those days thinks it was me who died, it wasn't.

    I started playing Eve in closed beta and managed to afford it not long after launch where it became my home. I met some great people in there and then a little game called WoW was released and I found it more and more difficult to get time to play EvE. So I willingly and maybe stupidly gave Robskiwarrior on loan to a "friend" who wanted to borrow him as he had some skills etc.

    I came back to get Robskiwarrior but the response of this guy was to sell him for a lot of isk. CCP wouldn't reinstate him, and they were right I shouldn't have shared my account.

    But I'm really glad the avatar got used, and it seems like he saw a lot of action.

    So yes I just wanted to clarify that the Robskiwarrior who started wasn't the one mentioned by some of your kind words, and isn't dead. I think the last corp I was in was Rumil corp.

    My name is Ephriane. I am the author of the Definitive Guide to Pochven. i've been posting here for a while but finally decided to make a matching reddit username.

    The guide (available here: http://tinyurl.com/DefinitivePochvenGuide) has now been updated to version 1.7, which accounts for some of the more recent patch changes such as wormhole jump-mass. Additionally, I've added a new quick reference guide (available here: http://tinyurl.com/PochvenQuickReference) intended as a companion guide for people who don't want to skim through a 20-plus-page novel. Each version also references its companion at the top, so you can get to either one from the other.

    I am interested specifically in feedback on the quick reference - Is it too much detail/not enough? etc. The quick reference omits or severely condenses topics that are less immediately relevant to somebody looking at the region for the first time, and also includes a handy table to help you distinguish how dangerous each NPC faction is at a glance.

    I look forward to both your feedback and the inevitable Pochven shitposting.
