    Hello Eve Community, I could please use your help. My good friend and Halo buddy passed away in a terrible accident. He was a huge fan of EVE and played it regularly and I have two pieces of art, one signed by the creator I believe, that were gifted to me from his family. Continued in the comments.

    Incursion Exploit Notification, Sponging is not okay?

    After some research it seems that back in August 2017, CCP released these patch notes https://www.eveonline.com/article/patch-notes-for-august-2017-release

    In that article under PvE;

    Players will now be disqualified from being rewarded for participation in Incursion sites if they have not dealt any damage or assisted other players through logistics.

    ​

    So this means Sponges were not able to receive payouts while just sitting in the first room, but CCP never actually fixed it to where the player needed to do Damage/Rep to receive payout.

    So it took them 2 years to finally release a "exploit" notification about this, even though this has been done for years before that, and up to present day.

    I would like to see someone from CCP or ISD actually explain whether sponging is okay, or not ok.

    I know, I know, it doesn't exist anymore. BUT. When you had to choose, which subBS would come closest? No T3Cs please ;) that would be too simple. I want it all, tackling capabilities, speed, permatank, Dmg, ENGAGEABILITY. Now, let it roll, gimme your best shots, ISK doesn't matter.

    EVE-CS Play Offs This Weekend

    Hey guys,

    Just a little friendly reminder that this weekend is going to be the first split playoffs of the EVE Online Championship Series. We're a league that's endorsed by CCP that we're aiming to run once a year. the league takes about 4-6 months to run and it a 3v3 format.

    Why do I, after playing EVE for 12 years, suddenly today have to endure an age warning every time I switch characters/login??

    Seriously CCP.

    After today's DT, suddenly you guys decide this game is only playable by those over 18, which is fine, but why must I see that unskippable warning for 5-10 seconds every time I login or change characters?

    You guys have had my credit card info on file for 12 years now. Come on...

    And notifications that can't be turned off saying I've been playing "excessively" after only an hour? I'm sitting here waiting to see if this is literally an hourly notification.

    Edit: YEP. It happens literally every hour of gameplay time.

    New bro here with one big question about missions.

    I want to play this game with one of my friends but we don't understand how missions work.

    When we did the noob agent missions together we had to warp to his mission site kill the reds then warp to mine and do the same thing over.

    Is there anyway to share missions so that if he kills a red it will count for me too. Can we work towards the same objective?

    How about missions after the tutorial ones do they change and can i do them with a buddy and we both get the same rewards? It seems really weird to me I cant do missions with a friend and that friends is progressing the same as me.

    Nvidia Driver Crashes?

    Everytime I try to log in after the most recent patch I get a black screen I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete out of. to find my GPU driver has crashed and recovered. Updated to most recent drivers, no luck. Anyone else experience this? (Base GTX 980)
