    It's a nice thing to do but it's ultimately harmful.

    I live in one of the bushfire hit areas. It sucks.

    It sucks because our government was warned by 21 former Fire chiefs a year ago. They refused to meet with them.

    They cut funding for fire services. They made fun of people in parliament calling them "woke latte sipping Greenies"

    They've offered compensation to our fire fighters recently but the fine print is so dodgy that almost none will receive help. You literally have to have been holding a hose for 10 weeks in front of a fire before you qualify for $300.

    If people around the world are paying money to help then the people responsible don't have to help which is what they want.

    Battlereport:

    The Triglavian Initiative. entered F7C via jump bridge which was quickly followed by the main Imperium Fleet flying Megathrons. Pandemic Horde, as usual <3, brought the fight and warped in at 0 with Hurricanes. We shot the PH fleet for a minute or two then swapped to the Imperium Mega fleet.

    Spectre Fleet, Wangs, TRIGGER, DEAD co and many more warped in at 0 and popped a few shots off at the Zirnitra. At this stage pretty much everyone was fighting everyone.

    Its kind of hard to say who was shooting who, I have a suspicion Jay Amazingness just told people to swivel really fast in their chairs and open fire on everyone.

    The brawl lasted for a little under 2 hours with many many dead ships, including the first Zirnitra loss.

    Again a massive thank you to everyone who showed up and a big thank you to CCP for their work with the PLEX for good.

    A Guide to the Dragonaurs Staging Facility

    Hey r/Eve, I have run quite a few of these sites and I'm making this guide to encourage more people to do these sites (so that more people come to lowsec and create more content). Here's some information on the site:

    The Rats

    • Cormorants - Low Dps / 100+km range / Will shit on drones / Long Point @ 30km
    • Manticores - High Dps / 100+km range / TP
    • Caracals - Mid Dps / 100+km range / Orbits @ 40-50km and around 700m/s speed
    • Osprey Navies - Mid Dps / 2,000m/s+ ram your face / Scram / Web / Neut
    • Drake - High Dps / 700m/s ram your face / Scram / Web
    • Moa - Mid Dps / 600m/s / snipe with rails / will shit on drones
    • THE BOSS Vimouksha - High Dps (estimated 600ish) / Long Point / Strong Neut / Need at least 500 dps to break his tank

    There are 5 waves of these rats with a ~20 second delay between each spawn, after that the boss spawns on his own. The mix of the spawns is basically random but you will never get more than 1 Osprey Navy or Drake (the scram/web rats) EDIT// Apparently you can get more than1 scram rat. Sometimes you can get 3 Cormorants which will just take a huge dump on your drones. The Osprey Navy rat is very fast and will likely catch you immediately.

    Generally, these rats have VERY solid speed tanks, they have tiny sigs and all travel over 500m/s and basically speed tank like AHACs. Therefore, ironically, heavy missiles without application (webs/tps) will apply terribly. I've tested a fair few heavy missile fits and they're all fallen rather flat. Gilas suffer from issues too as if you let your drones go out too far they can get murdered by the Cormorants/Moas.

    The Fits & Tactics

    I've been running these fits in a Sacrilege, this has come from a fair amount of testing and basically I decided the best way to run it solo is to chase the rats down and web them so you can apply well. Here is the Sac fit I'm running: http://puu.sh/F1mXh/8088c9a427.png

    It can face tank the site easily and has enough dps to clear them in a reasonable amount of time. You must chase down and web each rat basically which is kinda annoying but it's not too bad. A Cerberus is likely better since it has more range and better dps but it's harder to get it lazy mode cap stable and T2 shield boosters are useless while faction shield boosters are retardedly expensive.

    HOWEVER, with some bling or a second character you can do all kinds of other setups which will be far more effective. This is not at all an optimised fit but it's cheap and works.

    Bonus: You can run these fits in a cheap PvP fit Gnosis as well, it doesn't really consume that many cap boosters so you'll be somewhat combat ready if someone comes to try take the site from you. The fit: http://puu.sh/F1n7b/4f70d8b2eb.png. It will be a lot slower than the Sac as the Gnosis is slow and you are more reliant on drones, but I have tested it and it works.

    The Drop Rate

    The drop rate is pretty garbo. I did 20 sites and got 1 implant (High-Grade Beta). The other drop is a worthless novelty item and Overseer's Effects from 1 - 23. The 23rd effects is actually worth like 130 mil so if you get that at least it's worth something.

    However, I could be having really bad luck and other people have gotten better drops.

    New player, LF account advice

Then I found out about the Recruit A Friend program and now I'm kicking myself for not starting an account with that.     Barghest for general all around pve

    Took a death in WH, any tips?

    Bask in my mistakes. Got some advice, looking for more. Anything you'd all swap? Situation is I was midway through a can, the Astero was camping (we had a nice conversation), got scrammed and blapped. I was told about EC-300s, which I'll try out once the skill's there. Thanks in advance.
