I have a handful of assets around Catch and it looks like Brave and Warped Intentions own most of the territory there. I don't have access to any of the stations however so I don't believe I can sell any of it. It's been literal years since I last played. There's enough assets (ships namely) sitting there that I'd like to convert them to ISK, go back to high sec, and relearn the game. I suppose I get in contact with Warped and Brave and try to freight it all out, but my wallet is too short for that unless I drop some RL money or go farming. | Rant: The Support Ticket Response Time Is Too Damn Slow Posted: 23 Jan 2020 10:45 PM PST After 3 nights of being unable to properly play the game, I'm in a foul mood and I need to rant. CCP's pokey response times to low-priority tickets is well known, and I appreciate why this is. None the less, for tickets pertaining to critical issues like stuck characters and billing issues, I expect even CCP to respond to them in a timely manner, and this is no longer happening. CCP's billing system somehow managed to charge me for a month's game time and not apply it to my account, so now my account is stuck as an Alpha, making it unusable for my needs. Stuff happens, of course, but when CCP has already taken my money and is not providing the contracted services, it really grinds my gears. Perhaps I just expect too much. But it should not take multiple days to get an issue like this fixed. I've already paid - CCP has my money - I just need the 30 days credited to my account. | EVE on Surface: Pro 7 or Pro X? Posted: 23 Jan 2020 04:17 PM PST Hey, all. Thought I'd get the community's feedback on this. Once my tax return shows up, I plan on getting either the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 or Pro X. I know the Pro X is an objectively better machine, but I'm concerned about the ability of an ARM-based processor to run what I'm trying to use on it. The purpose of the tablet is mostly to go back to school without lugging a laptop, but having it able to play EVE and the old FF games during downtime is a major plus, and will decide which machine I go forwards with. I know that some x86 applications won't install on the Surface Pro X, but think I'll probably be ok, and would rather buy a somewhat future-proof machine. Your thoughts? Edit: I also want to do some video editing for my YouTube channel on the tablet, of course using an external HDD. Advice there would also be appreciated. [link] [comments] |

Tried to approach and my ship was just bouncing off the Station and I was unable to get anywhere near them, they were literally INSIDE the station and you couldn't get to them. In addition, drops have been significantly reduced. Now if you want to get value out of them you would need to have 3 people and be running them in 2-3 systems in sequence. I was running a gurista tengu intially but swapped out a kinetic hardener for an adaptive and was fine. Initial warp in has 2 scram/web rats but everything else is pretty easy after that. 3 elite drone bs's so grab their AI chips. Gate is locked until you kill all rats. Drones are spaced a little far apart; farthest group is 90km out Second room has maybe 1 rat that points/scrams; I killed off the frigs pretty quick so can't confirm. 2nd room has 7 elite drone bs. I didn't check the gate to see if it's locked. Groups are spaced out again but not as bad; all within 40km of the gate Third room has 1-2 pointing rats and 2 BS's that web from far out, but they must have been grapplers because they didn't slow me down at all. 2 named BS's in here - anti- stabilizer which drops 2 drone modified passcard and a mutated drone parasite that didn't drop anything. There's also a structure that needs to be killed to unlock the gate so you can probably just skip this room Fourth Room - holy shit it's a ton of guristas in this room. At least one frig pointed me - warped out right away after killing it and swapped out to my 10/10 fit Killed akkeshu kuran and he didn't drop shit except dna. Killed the rest of the rats to see if there was anything then killed the structures. Maybe it drops x-type loot if you get lucky but I didn't find anything good [link] [comments] |

| Returning player lost in space Posted: 23 Jan 2020 10:16 AM PST Couple years ago i decided to give Eve a try, so i joined a corp, started training some skills and with a fell days in i was ratting with my brand new VNI. It was very fun in the beggining. I was exited all the time, afraid to be ganked and thrilling about evey isk that came into my account, but unfortunately that didnt long last. Ratting become more and more boring and i quit. This week i decided to try the game again. Joined another corp. They picked me up from the HS to the NS, where i discovered that things are even more dangerous! Since then, im not leaving station! i totally forgot how to rat, and in the mean time i'm training some skills to be able to ride another fits (this time i will learn how to pvp and pretend to start exploration to) But the reason of my post is: Is there anything i can do while i train those skills? im sad to be docked and when i can get online the guys from my corp are usually off... I dont want to waste my omega time and i dont want to quit the game again. Im watching tons of videos and streams, but there are so much to learn and so much to do that i thought it was a good idea to ask for some more advice here. Side note: Still have my VNI and my queue are filled with stuff that will make me able to ride a Heron with a basic exploration fit. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 23 Jan 2020 03:40 AM PST I have been having really bad stutters with big fleets, anything over 20 people loading a new system and uncloaking brings my PC to its knees, I go down to about 1-4 FPS for about 10-20 seconds then go back up to over 200. I had a big fleet fight the other day and I was capped at 3 FPS fight was about 1250 people in system. My system specs are as follows 3x monitors: 1x 1080p 120Hz 1x 1080p 60Hz 1x 1440p 144Hz RTX2080 32GB DDR4 3200MhZ i7 8700 NON K Running on a SSD I am out of ideas and are about to give up on playing with fleets.
