    FC Chat Card Collection

    Hello fellow Eve players,

    quite some time has passed since we first used cards on stream of FC Chat guests and therefore our collection of them has grown. At this point we have a total of 46 cards made and more will be added weekly as the FC Chat show keeps bringing on new FCs.

    With this post I want to make the collection somewhat accessible to the public.

    The reason why we created them:

    Pando wanted to display some basic information about his guests on stream for all the viewers to see.It is hard to know what a person in this game does, especially when you missed the introduction segment of the stream and join in late to the show. Since I created most of his visual stuff on his stream he poked me with that idea and presented a very sexy (not) example made in MS Paint.Later that day he had the first FC Chat card in his hands.

    The reason to share:

    I don't know. Maybe a guy called Steve wants to print those out and have some fun playing a game he made up with them. Or maybe Karen was about to ask for the managment because these cards were the only thing missing in her Eve related stuff collection.However the .psd / .ai source file will not be shared. These cards are supposed to be somewhat exclusive to FC Chat guests. In the future we might alter the design and release the source file of that new design to enable the creation of community cards.

    The design:

    The base of the cards is from the MTG M15 edition. It has been altered with an Eve online background which I grabbed from the official Eve website. The round corners have been removed. A white frame surrounding all the information a card displays has been added to overlay the original MTG framing and make it look more minimalistic. To replace the holographic dot at the bottom I used the Eve Online logo. Skillpoints on the card have the same appearance as you would see it ingame in the skills tab.

    The rules:

    Feel free to do everything with the cards you want, except distributing them with the intent of making money. That would probably get you in trouble with Wizards of the Coast and CCP :)

    Things I might improve in the future:

    The current design is not printing-friendly. To improve the workflow of printing full sheets of these I would have to adjust some things and then alter all the existing files accordingly. So consider this to be done soon™

    The cards are missing a design for the back. Since proper prints would require something along those lines I will probably create one in the near future.

    Market/research/manufacturing citadels being purged in Genesis

    So a small group that splintered off from PIRAT just before the collapsed wardec'd a few local markets in Genesis. Didn't think anything about it until I started hearing from others that they had been paid to remove markets. Once I did a bit of further digging it seems 'IChooseYou Holdings' aka P.H wanted to remove markets that did not keep their tax rate higher than their own 1%.
    Was just curious if other regions oh Highsec space have seen similar. Seems 'Jita holding inc.' got tired of our small group of corps and alliance standing up to them and forcing them to either miss timers, or get blapped that they have now decided to call in help. 'Wrecking Machine.' has now joined in the fight on their side. I have heard from others on the other side of Genesis that their markets are also being sieged by another group that is 'in contract' to remove these markets. Has this been a thing in other regions as well, or is Genesis just the first target they wish to take over.

    Usually I keep track of the path home. 0 to 1, 1 to 2 and so on, usually only go a couple deep then take my loot back to base (if I live).

    This time I took a Sunsesis, a couple of different fits worth of equipment, a pile of ammo and a Mobile Depot. I have been tracking my path but at this point I think some of my starter holes are probably gone.

    Anyone have experience just jumping around randomly? If you survive how does it usually end?

    Also, disappointed that if I log out, all of the cosmic sigs I had scanned down go back to unknown/0%. What kind of crappy onboard nav are we dealing with here.

    So i see fits to solo T5 sites with a Gila and fits for doing 3 man group of Hawks. So am i missing something or can you 3 man T5 sites in Gila's and just steam roll through them? Thanks.

    How do books work now?

    An old player getting back into the game here. I need to know how books and skill training now work in game. I used to be a station trader and now I have a whole library of stuff I seemingly don't need. Or do I? Is there any benefit of having a book in your inventory right now? Who gets the money I pay for my new skill now?

    WHs turning into Null?

    Been back in game for a month now, and I'm seeing a constant issue in WH's now that didn't seem to be an issue years ago.

    Seems a lot of WH corps won't take fights now unless they can either A.) blob you, or B.) blob you.

    Beyond that there's tons of corps that now won't take fights, they just sit there farming all day. It's cancerous, it's like being back in null where people won't undock unless they have a 50 man fleet to fight 10 cerbs.

    Be nice to start evicting the pure carebears to get some more people in WH space that will take fights.

    Groups supporting the Triglavian invasion?

    With the Triglavians about to begin fully taking over systems, I've seen a lot of groups (i.e. ARC) that will support the empires and CONCORD, but are there any groups supporting the Triglavians? I'd imagine most of the content will need fleets and not be doable solo.
