WANGS/SNUFF/IVANA/AVDOT help Seddow (Dreadbomb.) make a name for himself

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 07:40 PM PDT

After Seddow faked a screenshot to get batphones to fight WANGS in eha link then asked us for help a week later to kill a small lowsec alliance's fort, we knew that we had to help Seddow make a name for himself link. Seddow being full of hubris dropped titans on the armor timer of the Sedition. Raeghoscon fort link, it was obvious he would do it again on the hull so we set up for them to mid. Dreadbomb. jumped supers, titans, and caps to Grat (why didn't you just jump to the fort in schoor seddow?) Ivana got the heroic initial tackle. WANGS/SNUFF/AVDOT logged in dreads and jumped ghost ride hics and started blasting. Titans melted while FC exclaimed "FUCK SEDDOW" and told the fleet to keep burning titans. Supers died after all titans were down and the dread fleet extracted after 1 cycle.

If this game is truly about the friendships, then should I try out a smaller corp?

    Posted: 28 Jun 2020 12:45 AM PDT

So I'm line member 4000 something in my corp with a capital account and im training for a titan because the great leader wills it so. (I joke) I guess the question I'm posing is I'm in a very large group that I don't mind but I don't fully enjoy, should I leave for a smaller group?

We have weekly fleets on Saturdays which are a blast with a corp DJ thats always on fucking fire which I really enjoy. But I don't enjoy it because, "Hey I'm getting together with my spaceship friends and having a good time" but I mainly enjoy it because its a casual fleet where we're all just hanging out listening to the old guard thats super buddy buddy with each other talk shit to one another while we're playing spaceships.

I've always been told eve is a game about the friendships but I've been in for under a year and still haven't really made any friendships / connections. I'll hang out on standing fleet coms occasionally and I try to go on fleets. Hell I even try to participate in the discord and chat with corp mates but this never really evolves into anything. So the problem I face is I feel like one of many and I'm only really in corp now because I get decent SRP and the Saturday night fleet. There is no one person that I'd be like, "ahh wish I didn't leave because I miss hanging out with that guy". My worry is, "ahh wish I didnt leave because of that great srp and decently safe space to rat".

I think what I'm asking is should I be looking for a smaller corp / group to join which may not have the vast information / isk / srp / etc backing but could be a place to actually get to know people? Or is it better to stay in the dominant corp / bloc with the vast forum knowledge and great srp program? I'm just worried about fucking up and potentially burning a bridge that I may want to cross back to one day.

TLDR: Fight was over an Initiative Tatara. Enemy FC (Chossuh) froze when faced with the combined fleet commanding might of apple pear, dave archer, and kcolor on the battlefield.

Battle of Ajna - The PanFam Whelp

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 05:05 PM PDT

    AAR: Battle of Ajna

PanFam & Co. began an attack on a structure for the hull timer. INIT responded with a fleet and Goonswarm (& other alliances) formed up a support fleet to assist.

Imperium jumped into system and landed on the enemy battleship fleet at 0. Tackle was spread, and battleships began popping like balloons at a child's birthday party.

PanFam & Co. brought in a large Ferox fleet to engage the Imperium's Jackdaw fleet, so Imperium dropped a small capital fleet consisting of carriers and FAXes.

At the time of the Cyno being lit, our intelligence has informed us that the fleet comms for PanFam went silent. Their FC froze completely with no targets being called. During this time, the Imperium began quickly reducing a large portion of the Ferox fleet back into scrap metal. Those that were not tackled fled system and burned to an NPC station several jumps away.

All in all, a total of 134 ships were killed, with 2 being lost for the Imperium (Cyno & Keres) and 132 being lost for PanFam.

    Npc strength?

    Posted: 27 Jun 2020 08:32 PM PDT

Is there varying noc strength bases on region or sec level? I'm pretty new to the game and occasionally wil get destroyed by NPCs and not really sure how to figure out the difference between them.
