Imperiums lowsec deployment, an Update Posted: 17 Jun 2020 02:42 PM PDT Goons are at war, not with test, not with pandafam but with a far more sinister enemy; around 60 active multiboxing autists that have a fetish for mining in lowsec, aka SNUFFED OUT (they used to camp tama a lot). The campaign saw ups and downs, plenty of structures were killed, many more reinforced, over and over and over. I talked shit about their Jackdaw feeds, their garbage Sacrilege fleets and ofc their impressive 380 billion ISK Capital sacrifice to kill our important astrahaus. They dunked our faction fortizar, formed their impressive Supercapital fleet and swung it's massive dick in our faces, we hit rock bottom. Rakapas fell, the only bastion of hope left was my retirement home, a fortizar in the system Pynekastoh, which we managed to defend a few times with the help of new allies. Thirsting for content, the other third of the game, Pandafam, knocked on our doors asking to come shoot goons with us. It was a confusing matter of affairs, hunting panfam capitals by day and then fighting side by side against the goon. I had to suppress the urge to shoot their capitals and leadership setting them blue does not help a snuff member one bit. Today the pyne fort came out of its final timer again, the imperium formed, our allies jumped in and goons did what they do best, shoot structures. They fed some ships to our fighters, then some more and after pinging for reinforcements a couple of times decided to turn tail and run. https://zkillboard.com/related/30045353/202006171800/ An Imperium retreat wouldn't be complete without some losses tho and they did not disappoint. https://zkillboard.com/related/30045338/202006171700/ Victory! Our last remaining fortizar survived the storm. We went back to the rakapas 5 station where we could hide behind another "shitty lowsec mechanic" - John Hartley, readying ourselves to defend the new faction fort we started anchoring before the fight today. https://i.imgur.com/0NqwIgv.png Will goons feed us some more dreads tomorrow? Will they bash some more athanors and run on the final timer to bash them again, or will they start moving all the titans? Then the news arrived. The legend himself the one and only wizard hat wearing texan lawyer had lost his ship. Smart as ever he tried to fool everyone with an alt https://zkillboard.com/kill/85031673/ but our vast spynetwork confirmed it, the mittani actually undocked and fed his legion. This changed everything, the people on teamspeak started to scream out of fear. What would the imperium do now to avenge the loss of their leader. We held each others hands praying the Mittanis wrath would be quick and painless. I subbed my old highsec mining accounts thinking it would be the only thing left for me once the imperium was done with us. But 2 hours later Goons and INIT had a SOTA. No retaliation, no free faction fort kill, no more evicting snuff. The Mittani in his never ending wisdom sees the bigger picture. He exposed our plans. The Imperium deploying to evict snuffed out? It was the idea of our most important spy jay amazingness to weaken the imperium, so the rest of the game could come together and defeat the imperium in a new world war bee. The Imperium is now in full retreat to fight a defensive war, against who? Nobody really knows, but the good news is lowsec got saved once more. Full Fireside https://www.mixcloud.com/Kahanis/ (will cause braindamage) goons pulling back to j5a to go on a "defensive war" and project to attack from cloud ring instead Mittani: "I feel like its WWB again" "we deployed to take out snuff because theyd be our enemies in a future casino war but then horde nc etc ...ok i know how this goes so we made plans to move back" "we are not gonna fight them out here in bullshit land in land thats not defensible if they wanna fight us then they come to us" "fuck lowsec what a shithole" "eugh" TL;DR The Imperium got spanked hard several times, Pandafam aiding us in Fort defense -> Mittani scared shitless and calling a full retreat to fight a defensive war against ??? CCP, Thank you for the frigate escape bay Posted: 17 Jun 2020 06:57 PM PDT Ever since my first pvp roams I've found that I don't particularly like hunting for good fights and there was always the looming understanding that after a few pvp roams I would have to go back to farming up more isk. At some point in time I decided to try to have my pvp ship "pay for themselves" in using them to rat and until recently the go to choices were between the Harbinger, Prophecy, Myrmidon or the Dominix due to utility highs for the probe launcher and not having the need to restock ammo. I honestly had a lot of fun theory-crafting fits that would have the ability to pvp while also not getting overwhelmed by the pve (lost a shitfit apoc to rats). However, everything changed with the frigate escape bay, no longer do I need to have a probe launcher on my battleship, no longer do I need to have to lament at not being able do data and relic sites (a major boost to my already low ticks) and no longer do I have to worry about ammo (fully fit resupply frigate ready to go)! This has made battleships my go to for pveing in a with a halfway decent (I hope) pvp fit in dangerous space and opened up a whole new world of possibilities for my play style. And to all the gankers out there, you are what bring the pvp, I learn something new about my fits with every engagement and I hope I can at least kill your tackle frigate. #AlreadyReplaced [link] [comments] |

Tiny handful of BPOs after 15 years of play Posted: 17 Jun 2020 10:07 AM PDT Tiny handful of BPOs after 15 years of playBetter start keeping a log nowI've been playing since 2004, and have almost exclusively focused on industrial activity. I have also been buying BPOs, researching and using them in production since that time. You'd think by now I'd be sitting on a mountain of ISK and prostitutes in null sec. But I'm not. And although my issue that I'm presenting here doesn't have a direct connection with ISK (or prostitutes, for that matter) it is a factor on some level. My BPOs have been disappearing over time, and when I contacted support they told me to prove it. Which I can't because I generally assume it's the game's responsibility to keep track of such things. I was wrong. However, I can assure anyone that these allegedly missing BPOs were not sold or put on contract, nor were they misplaced or lost in a move, and I most certainly didn't leave out for sticky fingers. They just simply vanished. My theory is that player accounts of a certain age become riddled with database errors, and these become more systemic and egregious as time goes on. No, I don't have proof, but after a decade and a half, I think I'm entitled to my opinions. So I ask you, fellow industrialists, are you missing BPOs that you would swear you bought? If so, speak up. My alliance leader just started having the same problem, and I decided it is time to stop being silent. The conspiracy theorist in me is demanding (shut up, I said) that I raise the point, with the changes to structures, and players now looting them, could this be an effort by CCP to reduce the amount of researched BPOs? They don't seem to have a problem changing the mineral content of asteroids, nor the safety of our assets in structures. So tell me your BPO woes, or any other missing assets. KS [link] [comments] |

Returning Vet - Where the F!$ck do i go? Posted: 18 Jun 2020 12:54 AM PDT Hi Guys, I've literally just logged on to Eve online after years of being away, but still paying that bloody sub so all my shit is level 5, and i need to know where to go. Prior to going afk i played solidly for about 8 years or so? I left because i was part of the imperium and to be brutally honest they sapped all the fun from the game for me. Looking to do some PvP now, don't mind where it is as long as there are a good bunch of nerds to play with. Any recommendations? [link] [comments] |

I think the Triglavians are winning this one. Posted: 17 Jun 2020 10:37 PM PDT https://zkillboard.com/kill/85042806/ Newbie room mate of mine decided to get new ship, see new trig stuff. Asked him how it went. "Went into mechanical trig gate. Saw sun harvester. Triglavian industrial ships look cool, regret nothing." Zappy ship used to go brr, now go boom. [link] [comments] |
What tools do you use to check pilots API's and background check Posted: 18 Jun 2020 12:42 AM PDT Hi there, Just wondering what tools do you use when you have a new applicant and you normally check in order to find the "SPIEEESSS" cheers [link] [comments] |
Is Exploration loot extremely high variance or I am just doing something wrong? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 05:53 PM PDT The short version: Is it normal to explore for 2-3 hours and not find any data or relic sites? Exploration seems fun when I can actually find sites to run, but it's incredibly tedious otherwise. The long version: I'm a new player, and I'm finding Exploration to be so RNG-driven that it's not fun. I've watched a bunch of videos and read wiki articles about it and I think I get all the basics, but I feel like I must still be missing something. I'm doing some scanning in high sec and some in wormhole space, but it's rare to find data and relic sites and many of those have strong rats that I can't kill in my newbie T1 exploration frigate. I spent about three hours today doing this: - Picked out a string of low-traffic high-sec systems on dotlan - Went through them one at a time, scanning all the cosmic signatures. If I find a data or relic site I run it, but I'm mainly looking for wormholes - When I find a wormhole, jump in a set up a safe spot (and constantly run d-scan looking for hostiles). Scan down all the cosmic signatures and run any data or relic sites that don't have rats guarding them. - When I've scanned all the signatures in the wormhole, jump back to high-sec and keep going So after three hours, I had scanned maybe forty or fifty cosmic signatures and found exactly one runnable data site, which was in high sec while I was looking for wormholes. I found tons of gas sites, ore sites, combat sites, wormholes, and a few data and relic sites guarded by Sleepers. But I couldn't do anything with any of those sites because I was in an exploration frigate. It was frustrating to go an entire play session and find so little of value. In the end, I sold the loot from the one high-sec site for about 2 million isk, which I could make in about 30 minutes of mining veldspar in a Venture. So is this normal? Did I just have bad luck with the sites I found, or am I making some obvious newbie mistake? [link] [comments] |

Anyone else like to create cool patterns with passive modules? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:56 PM PDT Like this, I cant be the only one?! I try to do a bit of roleplay in my head, e.g. the cap rechargers are charging the battery or the drone damage amps are interacting with the link augmentor to boost the drone stats :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Jun 2020 01:17 AM PDT I have a long Skill queu in my mining alt for be able to use efficiently rorqual in some time. I understand how implants i also have unused remaps so this is my skill Queu. What Intelligence/Memory implants i should wear? Also i should remap all my points to Intelligence primarily and memory?
