    I'm brand new to Eve Online after coming from various other MMOs. Currently bashing my head against my desk as I try to figure out what the heck I'm doing. And then I get this:

    Edit: I'm just really surprised this is a thing. It's really cool for someone who is used to apathetic GMs in other MMOs.

    Jedi Mind Tricks: A Gas Huffing Guide

    I have recently gotten into gas mining and I've spent the last couple weeks researching and testing what is called 'Jedi Mining' or 'Jedi Huffing' (not coined by me) where you gas mine while speed/sig/range tanking the sleepers. Over the time I was doing it there was a lot of trial and error and I lost a lot of ships figuring things out since the information out there was fragmented and there wasn't a guide.

    So I decided to make one, I've never made a guide before so go easy on me. The guide can be found here:

    is there any way to bring my matter to the attention of a senior GM or REP here on reddit? i can't access my account from almost 2 months and after a number of unanswered tickets i just got a reply from the customer support that they were apparently talking with someone else all this time, or sending all the replies to a different email address,as i never heard back from them.

    After a number of attempts to explain the situation it's now 2 months without a reply, which is joke. I didn't need to contact the CS in ages but i didn't remember it was THAT bad...

    If anyone is experiencing the same issues could you leave a note in the comments?

    In the last few days of trying to play eve, I've been plagued by server disconnections. Sometimes none, but then sometimes I'll get only 1.

    Tonight however, I had a grouping of 6 disconnects within an hour time frame, and gave up for about 2 hours. Reboot computer, router, I'm connected via Ethernet. After my break, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game files. Opened the game, played for 15 min and had 2 disconnects within a few minutes of each other.

    I've been playing the game for a while now and nothing like this had happened until a few days ago. I'm calling my ISP tomorrow. I have no idea why this would suddenly start, any advice?

    I don't suppose anyone would know if PCs have inbuilt thermometers that can detect when it's getting too hot?
