Bad first impression with Eve Posted: 02 Oct 2020 07:05 PM PDT A bit of a rant ahead, but I want to like this game but this just doesn't sit well with me. I've just come back to this game after creating a trial account a few years ago. My first experience is in solitude we're i link up with some alliance called "sThe Expanses." I'm not super active in game yet but they tell me "our motto is 'RL comes first'". I thought, that's cool. So I hang out in their discord for a while and there is a lot of drama there about a guy a few systems over that is giving them trouble. Fair enough, it's a game, people pvp. Whatever. But after a while, I find out the ceo of the alliance I'm in was banned from the game permanently for doxing this dude, and they we're all ok with that. In fact, they were all actively trying to fabricate discord chats to go for a revenge ban. It was all they would talk about for like two weeks. I raised some concerns about how I think it's wrong to dox someone. And I was immediately kicked for not being supportive enough of the ceo. I was told this is normal behavior and people do this stuff all the time. I'm hoping all of you can tell me this is an anomaly and that most of the community isn't like this. I just managed to save up enough to buy my first t3c (and a replacement)and so far it's been everything I needed and more in terms of pve. That said I am interested in taking it on small gang roams, as well as some solo wh hunting, and I would love to read your thoughts on how to fit it for those activities. Give Edencom ships a ridiculous capacitor recharge role bonus Posted: 02 Oct 2020 05:44 PM PDT They should be able to fit a brain-damaging, game-breaking, stupid as fuck IMBA local active tank if they can't do damage. Trig ships are designed to work in groups against single targets, Edencom ships appear to be designed to work by themselves against many targets. Looking at the role bonuses on trig ships vs edencom vessels, the disparity is pretty absurd. A bonus to either capacitor regeneration rate, capacity, or shield booster amount would be a fun way to create a niche for these ships beyond a 2.2 bil cruiser fit for abyssals submitted by /u/Legolas170 [link] [comments]
