    7o, UwU and Hello capsuleers! I wanted to make a post of the brave operation of invading 1DQ today.

    I'm currently studying nursing and don't have the time to devote to eve anymore. i may drop in, but the heavy fleet things are over for me so in true Brave style. I decided to be brave. and undock. we were all going to fleet warp to the 1DQ gate but unfortunately friendlies were onto us and were determined to have me stay on tether. but Brave decided to go galaxy brain strats and cyno around them. but god it made for some hilarious comms. great fun hahaha.

    I wanna thank Kaylah, bob carebare, Om, Ben, Djavak, Aernir, Razzyl, Narmayla, Maxist, Lion, Lukas, Broseidon, Onekor, Darin and all the other people who came for the ride, and also helped kill me.

    Brave is here for fun. and we sure had it at the end.

    I've seen lots of hypernet offers where people gamble 150b isk and I struggle to understand how someone can just "throw away" that amount of isk let alone making it, it's unfathomable. Do people just multibox 8 Rorquals 24/7 or what? And if not, HOW would somebody even make that much isk in the first place?

    D scan presets 9 and 0 are ducked

    So I took the time to learn how to make overview presets. Pretty much for the sole purpose of being able to use custom presets in the dscan dropdown filter menu.

    Follow me with this because here's where it gets funky.

    So in d scan filters there are presets 1 thru 8 that you can fast switch by having the dscan window highlighted, then pressing 1 thru 8. Fine good yay. These cannot be changed to custom presets, fine good whatever, They do what they are supposed to.

    The last 2 fast switch hotkeys 9 and 0 can be loaded with custom presets (Yay) but only if your preset has a charicter that is recognised as comeing before all others. like the "!" Or whatever charicters can be listed above all others (okay not so yay but whatever right)

    This is where it gets bit more funky,

    Try doing all that.

    Make preset. Give preset stupid name like "!!Dscan". It shows up in dscan presets on hotkey 9. Highlight dscan window. Pres 1 thru 8, they all work. (Yay) Press 9. Nothing. (same for le 0)

    Am I the first person to notice this?

    Then ok I don't know any better so I make a support ticket (Yay)

    They tell me they can't do anything and to make a bug report. (Okay)

    I have to write everything in a way so they can repeat it and it took me a while. (In the month since I have learned to type with all my fingers instead of just 2 because my wife said I typed like an old man... So today I use all my fingers)

    Pushed send. Web page error. (Yay) Press back Everything I wrote up is gone. (Sigh) I'm to tired to write it again that day. I reply to the ticket that the glitch page crashed and I'm to tired to re write it that day. He was super polite by the way so no problems there I mean honestly they are always very professional. He suggests I use the in game report a glitch. I say ok maybie one day (hahaha)

    1 month later I make a Reddit account with my eve name. I think "oh yea, I like eve to play, let's join there Reddit community!". (Yay) I remembered this whole dscan thing. (Of course) I decide to write a long post on Reddit that is longer than if I had retyped another glitch report (and saving the text in notepad at the suggestion of ccp incase the world breaks, while I explain them that their game broke)

    Why? Because this is more fun, and I want to pop my Reddit cherry by seeing if there's a karma farming exploit I can take advantage of. (Yay)

    Hope you liked my story. Let me know if you ever noticed this glitch too. And I should proabably send in that glitch report soon.... But like... M.. Maybe later when.. I, like.. feel like it.

    Newbro needing help

    I started playing eve maybe 2/3 weeks ago, loved it right out of the gate. There are so many layers it's really an amazing game. I've cheated and invested real world money to but Plex and packs to get more ships aviable for me to fly. Just skilled into a t3 destroyed a Jackdaw to be specific and I love this boat, I like how it looks and I really enjoy missile boats. The problem is I suck, Without a doubt I am in to bottom % of players, for instance I copied a fit that said it could run T3 abyssals and tried to run a T1 just to get my feet wet and I got own in the first room. This is a reacurring theme, I take a ship and fit it out and proceed to try content that is below what is supposed to be possible with and then get immediately.

    No idea what I'm doing wrong, so i came on here to appeal for some help becuase I really enjoy the game but I see myself getting burned out quickly if all I'm doing is getting smoked constantly. Message me in game Kazry

    Is solo PvP still alive?

    Haven't played for almost 5 years, recently been wanting to scratch the itch. The reason I left was that I really liked solo/small gang stuff, and it's been pretty dead circa 2015. FW had descended into cloak recon fuckery and beacon farming, in nullsec people would either dock/cloak when a neut enters local, or undock so much shit there's not even a slightest possibility of killing something. Has any of that changed? How's the balance overall?
