    Day 1: Attacked By My Own Tengu

    After rigorous solo PvP training (getting shit on in what must have been 150 different T1 frigs and destroyers) I am now ready to take on the universe as a new man... as a warrior. With my new spirit and heightened ego I spent every last penny I had on a set of ships that would allow me to live out my new wandering warrior lifestyle. From here on out I am to be a nomad travelling, fighting, and crabbing through wormholes and other systems I have absolutely no business being in with my current skill set.

    Here's what I brought with me:

    1 Orca (My briefcase with its own dedicated toon)

    1 Tengu (for ratting and salvaging and sometimes some killin)

    1 Confessor (in case I run into any Wolf C13s)

    1 Manticore (for bombing and attempting to kill ships that can't shoot back)

    1 Prospect (mining and huffing gas)

    1 Pacifier (for exploration sites)

    1 Tristan (for low-sec pvp)

    and a cargo full of BPCs to rebuild and replace stuff I lose.

    With this glorious set of ships I found myself a C2 wormhole with a HS and a C3 static. I think it's going to be my home base for a little while. There's quite a few structures in the hole but the hole hasn't seen activity in ages. After I got settled and my PI all set up it was time to start making some of that cash back. I had found a few faction relic and data sites so that was a quick 30ish mil.

    A few new sigs popped up so I scanned those down; a new HS static and a Null frig hole. The frig hole was enticing me so I hopped in my bomber and went to go see what I could find.

    Empty.

    I took the gate.

    Bubbled.

    I try and cloak up quick to gtfo.

    Dead.

    It wasn't a great start, but luckily I managed to get my pod back to the hole. I warp to my parked and cloaked orca and switch into the Tengu. Wrong ship, so I switched into my Pacifier all the while spamming D-Scan. A Tengu pops up on D a few thousand meters away.

    "Oh shit, oh fuck." I panic. But soon after I realized that was just my own Tengu getting placed back into the Orca....

    After the scare I went to go check out the new HS hole to see where it leads to. I accidentally warped to zero on my bookmark so I got decloaked and instantly 3 astero's decloak and try to catch me, I absolutely shit myself and crash the hole. I sit there for a minute in my soiled undies, take a sip of mountain dew, and get my ass back in there. Nothing. I start my warp to one of the million safes I had set up and cloak. As soon as I moved the asteros were back but I was already on my way out. I landed on my safe and I just stayed nice and still and cloaked for 3 hours before safe logging both my characters.

    Day 1 is already the most stress and most fun I've had in this game yet.

    A moment to remember an achievement of a friend

    Today marks a special occasion for one of the greatest members to ever grace us with his presence. He is known by many names but Yonis pserad, Acend Isgar, the dark knight of dronelands and guiltypsina.

    As has happened recently he lost 2 of his hel's in dronelands and this was due to a distraction for what was to happen this week. his greatest life achievement. Our friend yonis, the greatest of them all, has finally bedded a women after many many years of abstention and pouring his focus in to the game we all love. He has spent many a night swooning over a lady friend and shared his feelings for said friend with all the members that participate in the chats of our infamous alliance discord channel. We initially were not supportive of this move as it would mean an end to the culling of krabs in the dronelands, but we were supportive none the less.

    We are going to holiday a cyno vigil on sunday the 6th Decemeber 2020 at 18:00 eve time in Rakapas for yonis's lost V card. all are welcome, bring whatever you like and lets celebrate a great achievement for our friend and a strong warrior of Snuffed Out.
    TL;DR Yonis Pserad got some fuc.

    Long time player coming back after a year and looking for corp

    I have been playing the game on and off for years, I just started playing again after about a year off(right after the trig stuff and drifters coming into nullsec hitting player owned structures happened). I am looking to start with rorq mining and then slowly get back into small gangs. I was in Pandemic Hord before but looks like I have been kicked for inactivity. Does anyone have any recommendations on corps? What all happened/changed after the drifters started hitting player structures?

    I managed to get some Sisters of Eve LP and wanted to do some exploring. I bought myself 10 scanner probe 1s and took them to the SoE station. When I go into the LP store, it says I do not have the required 10 scanner probes to turn into SoE probes. I have both enough LP and Isk to complete the transaction

    I have tried putting the probes in my ship or in the station inventory and it still won't let me buy the SoE probes. They are still blocked out and red and say that I missing required items. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

    Which missile to train?

    Newish player missile question. I've spent very very many skill points training light/medium hybrid turret/rail gun. And for Corp doctrine reasons I've got a good deal more rail/turret training to do.

    But I get killed by missiles a lot. I also notice that many of the fits for filaments, WH ratting, PvE favor missiles over what I've trained in. I'm about to move up to the Gila/Cynabal grade ship for various forms of PvE and maybe PvP (if I have to).

    Given all this, I want to pick one line of missiles to train to and avoid the mistakes of getting level 1 in a 17 different types and the mistake of lvl 5 in the "wrong" type. What would you suggest?

    I've always wanted an orca when I first got into Indy. When I got it a few weeks ago I was so fascinated with its hill exterior resembling a dam flat bread sandwich. Is a rorq worth getting into? I have kill mails for capital ships logged to my discord and I see a lot of Rorq kills. Is a rorq really worth getting?

    So I'm a new player and i don't really know what's up with ships so i came here. I need a ship from amarr, hopefully one that has a significant capacity for tankage. I want something i can use before i get my skills up, so i dont wanna have something so reliant on one skill like drones. I bought the starter pack so my budget is 80 mil-120 mil and my fit budget is 30 mil. Oh and also i use lasers so thats why i need amarr.

    Why have Triglavians changed colour from red to grey?

    This happened in the last couple days. I'm pretty sure this is a universal change and not just something I am experiencing as I saw a YouTube video about the recent Triglavian incursion into Perimeter and they were grey on his screen as well.
