Posted: 16 Feb 2021 09:05 PM PST Good Afternoon, At the current time the Ignoitton Keepstar Complex will likely be under attack within a few days from Snuffed Out. This is my best effort to give the people utilizing the complex time to evactuate their assets. While a defense may be mounted it is unlikely to succeed in the short or long term. logs are attached here. https://pastebin.com/vBT85SYr tldr: day after taking their monthly up front payment snuff decides to reneg on their previous agreements and break their word. It is what it is, should have known better etc, regardless this is focused on raising awareness. edited: to include normal pastebin. [link] [comments] |
FRT vs The Freemen of the north : D7-ZAC still holds ! Posted: 16 Feb 2021 05:54 PM PST After the successful anchoring of a(nother) fortizar in our staging and the reinforcement of our staging hub, FRT hype pinged the whole Winterco coalition to alarm clock for the hub timer (Hi Elo, TP is recruiting <3). With the help of all our brave friends, we managed to save the Ihub and win the isk efficiency. AAR : FRT had several fleets out, a cerb fleet, a muninn fleet and a few supports (+ several pet alliances helping here and there). The muninn fleet came in D7- first, stacking on their Fortizar then warping on our cynojam and begin reffing it. The entosis event began a few minutes later, the muninn fleet promptly left the jammer to cover the entosis caps that were cynoing in here and there. Allies were close to us but due to acl fuckups they were slightly delayed, our FC decided to use these few minutes to reship in jackdaw and frag the support fleet, which melted quickly. In the meantime friends are slowly showing up in local, evening the numbers slightly and giving us hope for what would come next. After reshipping to torp bombers, we begin chasing the capitals FRT had cyno'ed in while our entosis team rush on all nodes, reshipping immediately when killed. We suddenly hear the intel that a Revelation is landing on a node two jumps away, our blops undock and bridges all bombers on top of the poor Revelation, who melts within seconds. FRT then begin to log off all capitals hoping they could escape the torp menace, unfortunately our probers were seconds away of catching a second cap. While we were fragging the Rev, the second fleet from FRT cyno'ed next door but split in half. One of our elite sabre pilots managed to bubble half their fleet on their titan, buying us some time to engage the muninn fleet. We reship in Cerbs and after baiting them into warp and bubbling half of them 100km of a gate, we engage them with RC and Volta fleet combined. They extract a good portion of their fleet (nerf muninns pls), and try to group up with the cerb fleet that finally arrived next door. INIT covers our entosis and we quickly manage to get the two final nodes we needed to save the hub.Silence on comms, then a burst of joy, we slowly begin to realise that we actually saved our hub from a full winterco formup. We then chase both winterco fleet that were extracting, after a nice brawl in a bubble and several kills, both FRT fleets extract towards Vale of Silent. Our mighty FC, the one and only Pytorion tries to land his now famous pipebomb trap but this one was slightly off and a few tempest were sacrificed to the blood gods. Against all odds, despite being vastly outnumbered and outgunned, D7-ZAC still holds. A big thanks to all friends that were there, Volta, RC, INIT, Rote bois, Quote alliance, BOSS, Arkhos Core <3 We love you guys! Evictus Alliance leave for greener pastures? Posted: 16 Feb 2021 03:03 PM PST IOU HC announced at the weekend that their line members must evac any assets into the T5Z keepstar. Citadels en masse are deanchoring around their sov within Feythabolis including the 2UK keepstar which is key to having a safe dock for their super fleet to move out with docking access. We was told we will not wait as immensea did ( I guess the 20+ guys wrecking Immensea are scary ) No other plan was given except we will get an update when we have secured ourselves into the T5Z Keepstar being deemed as a safe place. https://soundcloud.com/user-260025563-584188374/2021-02-13-evictusalliance-meeting [link] [comments] |

Can we please make player names in chat bold again Posted: 16 Feb 2021 07:40 AM PST A couple of months back there was an update to chat fonts and it made it so that player names in chat are no longer bold, as they had been for 16 years prior, and at a glance are indistinguishable from text content. CCPlease fix this it drives me crazy. Example from another r/eve post that reminded me to complain about this [link] [comments] |
Brave moves to Querious - relocation update Posted: 16 Feb 2021 11:26 AM PST As revealed in the Brave leaks, in a bold and daring move, Brave are leaving their former home in Catch in an attempt to gain a foothold in Querious. Although short on ISK, Brave had 12 ihubs in storage ready to be deployed, and were donated a few citadels from Legacy - so managed to set themselves up in two constellations near Efa. Since that fateful decision, in less than a week all but two of Brave's ihub's have been destroyed by Siberian Squads; In addition, Siberian Squads appear to have settled in without experiencing significant losses, with Brave and Severance unable to remove them despite active entosis efforts; This new frontline of the war away from Delve has offered the opportunities to engage in smaller scale combat, with enjoyable fights for both sides. It appears, however, that Brave's decision to attempt to relocate to Querious at this time may have been too great a challenge for them, given the other pressures there were under. Time will tell if they can turn this situation around and gain a secure foothold in the region. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Feb 2021 10:54 PM PST Hey, I've been playing on Windows, and I'm really not a windows person. But you know, vidya games. I've poked around a bit on the topic, but thought I might as well ask the question to maybe get a better perspective on things. How is multiboxing on Linux? Is there an eve-o equivalent? I usually have 3 active accounts. Is there generally a list of "best eve linux software"? I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm just looking for suggestions (common or not) of stuff that I could be missing. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:31 PM PST Faction war would be greatly improved if tier 1 and tier 5 were removed. The issue is at tier 1 the income is so low that players cannot support their PvP. This causes the losing side to lose players and be unable to recruit well. This is a simple change that would create more PVP in faction war. There should be benefit to the winning side but the losing side should still be a viable choice for newer pilots who do not have tons of isk. This would also reduce the incentive for farmers to constantly switch to the winning side. Another nerf to Faction war missions would be great as well. [link] [comments] |
The Greatest Military Defeat is actually the most cunning plan PAPI ever developed. Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:46 AM PST PAPI have pulled off the greatest military act in EVE. They have forced Goons to perma camp M2- with their entire super capital fleet. All whilst PAPI go around burning the rest of Delve with impunity. Goons are the ones trapped. Not PAPI. Those 130 titans are doing gods work keeping Goons busy in M2-. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Feb 2021 12:22 AM PST Not to sure if this should go here but what the hell. I'm a Former and still Proud member of Care Factor. When it was still an alliance of course and provibloc was still how it was a few years ago. I'm pretty aimless right now, not sure what to do in the long run but I have a short term plan. In short, at the moment. I want some people to fly with semi regularly. I'm not looking to join a corp or alliance at the moment (although the space I'm looking at kinda makes me want to join horde.....) Anyone newer to the game/even a vet looking to hang out? bullshit and try to fight in a dead end system with no hope of survival? 3 jumps from a pandem horde system. So uh. Yea... Also, one other question, if anyone who sees this knows (because I can't find it anywhere) can rorquals jump to indy cynos like it is reasonably assumed they can? Or no? (Because industrial cyno CCP wtf) [link] [comments] |
Need some help with an Eve birthday card Posted: 17 Feb 2021 01:16 AM PST Hi folks, I know nothing about Eve online other than what I hear my fiancé saying through comms (Cold-hots? Hot-hots? Three-jump-Jitas? Mining something or other...). I'm hoping to make an Eve-themed birthday card for him but would like some help coming up with some cheesy Eve-related birthday lines. (It's his 30th, in case there's something that could be used there) Thanks in advance for your help! :) :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Feb 2021 09:08 AM PST At 0620, one of the most important Brave structures was destroyed by one of our own. The Mobile Depot "Cat Girls Have Four Ears" was destroyed last night, after being deployed by the cap director roughly 48 hours before. The depot became one of the most important structures to our alliance, representing the strength of weebs, as well as the determination of the anti-weebs. The cap director's reaction to a screenshot of the depot being destroyed being posted in slack goes as follows: [awoxer] 1:28 AM Djavak Andrard 1:34 AM Djavak Andrard 1:48 AM Djavak Andrard 1:49 AM [third party] 1:50 AM Djavak Andrard 1:50 AM [second third party] 1:50 AM Djavak Andrard 1:50 AM [second third party] 1:50 AM [a few lines later...] Djavak Andrard 1:52 AM [conversation continues, Djavak insists that cat girls have four ears, while others say they have two. Radicals believe that cat girls may not exist, and Dunk stays quiet in this conversation, knowing that his alliance is teetering on the edge of existence.] [Djavak's decent into madness is evident, as he can be seen ranting about the number of ears cat girls have.] tl;dr: [link] [comments] |

Posted: 16 Feb 2021 06:07 PM PST Very much seems CCP are focusing on UI and polish of the game, so thought I'd ask and bring up the idea of ship types shown in space as an option enabled and disabled within the settings. This forum post explains how to do it through editing files within the directory. CCPlease. :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Feb 2021 09:03 PM PST So, my Amarr standings suck. -5.06, which means that they chase me down and try to kill me when I enter their space. I'm currently re-running the SOE Epic Arc for the exact purpose of repairing my standing with Amarr, but I have a problem. One of the missions is currently in Amarr space, meaning the Gilded Po-po are actively seeking my demise. Mission is to use a Relic Analyzer (Civilian) to hack a can and grab the loot. I don't have much experience with faction police, so here's my question: Can I sufficiently tank something like an Incursus to survive long enough to hack and grab the item? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Feb 2021 10:10 AM PST I'm tired of only flying shield fleets. The slowness of subcap armor remote reps allowing many medium gun platforms to squeeze in 2 salvos makes the nominally "larger" buffer of certain armor doctrines to be worthless in practice. Also fax armor reps landing 2.5 seconds before subcap reps is stupid. If CCP is "worried" this will buff spider tanking trig ships, add a role bonus to Guardian/Oneiros/Auguoror/Exequeror. Also give the Zealot like 150 more power grid and 20 more CPU. [link] [comments] |
Small legacy fleet takes on Goonswarm in Querious Posted: 16 Feb 2021 09:34 AM PST Under leadership of freshly awoken Jeremy Andedare, a small TAPI muninn fleet set out to stop the anchoring of astrahuses in Querious in the 9NP-KR constellation. Arriving a tad late, we witnessed one of the astrahuses online, figured out this might be a short n mostly traveling op, but alas, it had more in store for us! We met a small cerberus fleet on a gate, killed a few and made our way to another astrahus. Started bashing it, while we suddenly got info that enemy cerb fleet (with some muninns) was under the leadership of Hanzo Viper on an enemy astrahus. Said astrahus was around 15% structure, so this could get spicy. So we did what anybody would do, warped at 0 to the astrahus, and started bubbling the enemy fleet. The next command from our beloved FC was to stop anchoring on him since he was still feeling sleepy from his early morning. So we anchored on the other monitor on grid: Hanzo Viper's Monitor (at least bother renaming your monitor, come on). While figured out logistics, like how much space does our link claymore have in his cargohold to determine who would scope the core from the structure we kept on a perfectly tight anchor. Our dictors cycled bubbles, and we put our drones (with some guns) on the astrahus. Around 5% enemy fleet tried to warp off, leading to our new anchor receiving a warp scram or 3 from our tackle wing. Figuring out they wouldn't be able to warp off that efficiently, goonswarm decided to fight the uphill battle. Mad props to their logi as breaking them was super hard (~50 muninns and an assortment of cerbs, split in 2 fleets makes this kind of hard), and they traded pretty well. In the end we come out ahead, looted the core, looted the field, and wait a minute, our backup "FC" is no longer in his Monitor! Master Hanzo Viper has left his monitor and took the pod walk home. No fear, one of our members quickly jumped in the monitor and we took our new baby home. What else happened is a random assortment of funbits:
Good fucking fun dudes, Querious is looking like a great place to have fun so far <3 <3 <3 Kind of unrelevant battle report: https://br.evetools.org/br/602bf92ccfec1f001ab6fad5 (1 monitor is on the wrong side of the report, but it ended up on the right side after it ) [link] [comments] |
