- Considering coming back but... judging from zkill, my old WH corp got blown out and blown up. So all my stuff - which is a lot - is gone. Haven't played in 4-5 years and kinda worried about the economy given the tenor of the posts here. Also not sure about null vs WH. Thoughts?

| Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:59 PM PDT Don't get me wrong, I enjoy small ships. I just don't enjoy crappy ships. I have no idea if T3 destroyers are meta any more, but I'd be happy with them. Honestly, no idea about the meta at all. I don't know if I'd enjoy null and the huge blob fights tho- seriously, I spent like a month in K-space before being recruited to my WH corp. I wouldn't mind finding a new WH corp but is anyone safe with Hard Knocks around? And I'm definitely not skilled/time available enough for a corp like HK. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 24 Mar 2021 09:07 PM PDT Add the Cancel Lock to the radial as a context based where the Lock would otherwise be! I have used cancel lock and its really useful in large ships. But adding it to the radial menu would improve workflow for quick fleet fights. [link] [comments] |

| Will my dad enjoy a corp with other players? Posted: 25 Mar 2021 12:28 AM PDT So I started playing this game last year with my dad who retired a few years ago. He struggled a lot learning the game and still I don't think he understands a lot of it. He doesn't seem to enjoy or want to do much interaction with pvp. However he does understand it's a sandbox, but without direction he is a sitting duck. We have been ganked in our first wormhole combat sites, and of course he was ganked by some random goonswarm pilot in highsec while mining. He likes PVE content and mining, he logs in with two alt accounts and mines for hours sometimes, he does it reading the news or watching sports. He plays very passively and doesn't watch the screen always. So we are currently in a corporation together that is just the two of us and alts. Living in some friendly highsec areas. I like to play many other games and don't always have time to join him, I've been wondering if it would be worth it to get him to find a community of similar minded guys, or should I let him play how he is. TLDR: should I get my retired father to join a community rather than playing alone so often? [link] [comments] |
