    Playing eve with my girlfriend. What should we do?

    I have convinced my girlfriend to play eve with me, we both have alpha clone accounts. I am happy enough to grind for isk doing exploration and other stuff but I don't want her to get bored. Aside from joining a corp (which might be a bit too much work, and a bit too intense for her at this stage) what kind of activities can we do together? Please keep in mind she is still getting to know the controls so Faction Warfare and PvP will be hard for her to get the hang of.

    Why we can't find a better game

    You've been here 10 goddamn years. You know that there are other games that have tough loss mechanics, games with sandbox elements, MMOs with PvP and big communities.

    But you still can't find a game that can hold you for the length of time EVE can, regardless. You get bored. It gets stale. WOW is great for 2 weeks, and then you're done. That's because EVE blends 3 elements into PvP that make the universe of possible engagements almost infinite, meaning that you rarely run into the same fights even though EVE has sometimes gone through long periods without ANY balance changes.

    1. No restrictions on the numbers of people on each team (and there can be as many teams as there are people). Lopsided fights are common.

    2. Thousands of possible ship + fit combinations. A massive range of these combinations can allow 1 to fight 30, only to lose to 5 who would be crushed by the 30. All based on ship types and ISK expenditure.

    3. Dozens of combat situations (maps or dungeons in other pvp games). Structure grids, IHUBs, FW, wormholes (and their effects), gated sites. Roaming.

    Until a game finds a way to fit those three factors into the PVP meta, we will continue to get bored of other games where the meta gets stale too fast, and come back home to the one game where every fight is different.

    We rolled into Feythabolis and tackled an Orca and some procs. Dude warped in a recon and dropped in a super and a fax. Calls us cucks as he is shocked we didn't want to fight him with a few nano ships against a fax machine....He proceeded to talk more shit and sends in game mail. We decided to stay at that point and see if he would man up and fight without his super/fax. Feed ensues.

    Sadly I didn't catch all the fights, especially the last one with a marauder, haw dread and carrier.

    Returning to Eve after a legit 6 year hiatus. Looking for kind advice.

    Hey guys, as the post suggests I am returning to Eve after a VERY VERY long hiatus, looking to maybe get back into the game. I logged in last night and felt that "I have no idea what I'm doing" dread.

    Currently I am not sure what to do with the new skill points or if I have to reinvest the skill points or if it was done automatically.

    I have about 9.8 Mil Isk and a (potentially okay) kitted out Moa.

    What should I do first, is this ship still any good and despite my trying to google information I keep getting linked to 2+ year old posts. So any advice on where you guys think I should go would be greatly helpful.

    EDIT: I looked. I last played in 2007!... so its been... 12 years. I am older than I thought.

    3 man squad, possibly a fourth sometimes. Looking for a good squad fit. I own an incursus, with two mining lasers and that's it, two other players own nothing yet. I have about 900k credits for us thanks to a kind stranger. Any resources or recommendations? I used to play a long, long time ago but I've just started again in the past week.

    Newbie diving head first into pvp!

    Coming from nullsec (where I live), I've gone to sell my items from exploration at highsec and has made an interesting sum of money. I have decided that I will do PVP to really get the experience and exposure of new eden.

    Currently I am at the Amarr trade hub and i'm looking for reasonable areas of pvp and ships/fits I could use. I have the most skill points for Caldari Frigates and Hybrid Turrets but anything to help me, i'd accept.
