With all the implants sets, 10 jump clones just isn't enough anymore. Everyone loves new skills. Can we have Advanced Advanced Infomorph Psychology? Side Note: I'd also take Advanced Infomorph Synchronizing while you're at it.

PLEX (for good) Party with the Triglavian’s - Saturday 18 January at 19:00 Eve Time

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 02:39 PM PST

As you will have heard: Australia is burning. There are brave people doing their best to hold back the flames, but we, oceans away, can still help them. CCP have dedicated a 'Plex For Good' event to support the firefighters, and we want to do what we can to drive this forward.

We're inviting everyone in New Eden to a very special barbie: Come to F7C-H0 this Saturday at 19:00 EVE time. Join in to get your name written in the historical records as one of our Triglavian Zirnitra-class Dreadnaughts prepares to take on (hopefully) hundreds of fearless Capsuleers, with his friends in smaller Triglavian hulls leading the way to the event beacon. As well as the first Zirnitra kill, you'll have the opportunity to reap plenty of other high value killmails. This will be the first Zirnitra to be destroyed in the annals of New Eden, and the event will try to help to save the lives of people, animals, and maybe even species. Australia is home to some of the most unique animals in the world, and many of them are threatened by this catastrophe.

We're asking everyone who comes together in this event to donate to the CCP Plex For Good campaign. If you can participate (or even if you can't), please donate PLEX as per CCP's guidelines here. If you're old, rich and bringing a T3 cruiser, donate as becomes your status as a person of wealth and taste.

The invitation is extended to anyone wishing to participate in a sub-capital ship. No aggression will be initiated by any member of INIT. towards those looking to join in the fun in the lead up to the event. Naturally, you can expect a huge free for all melee once the event begins, and you should only bring what you're ready to lose.

However. Any capitals or supercapitals looking to gatecrash will be participating in an entirely different type of barbeque event, we only ask to limit yourselves to subs.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Crack open a tinnie and help us fight fire with fire.

TLDR: Big fight in F7C at 19:00 on 18/01/2020 Eve time, Zirnitra killmail to be had.

PS. For any fleets worried about getting into F7C feel free to reach out to me in-game on "Dark Shines", regardless of in-game political affiliations and I'll see what bridges I can arrange for you.

Hope to see you all there!

[Venal Prosperity Network/Brotherhood of Spacers] 6NJ8-V Fortizar Freeport now ready for your trade!

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:00 AM PST

    (.____.)/

We meet again r/eve. This is Avio Yaken, spokesman for the Venal Prosperity Network, here once again to present an update on the economic progress being made in 6NJ8-V.

    The Rabbit's Warren

    -------------------------

    https://preview.redd.it/jh2mdb26sya41.jpg?width=690&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=204a27f8659363436a09d3704f495d46c925e0a8

I'm pleased to announce - with immense gratitude towards the Alliance 'Brotherhood of Spacers', who've made this happen with their own resources, logistics and faith in the vision of making 6NJ8-V the premium trade hub of all Venal - the newly anchored and fully running freeport Fortizar dubbed The Rabbit's Warren.

Named in tribute of the co-founder and current leader of the Guristas, The Rabbit's Warren is to be the most exotic and prosperous marketplace in all of Guristas space. I'm talking luxury and vice my friends, if we don't have something in stock to scratch your itch, one day soon we hope to obtain it here.

As mentioned, this Fortizar is a freeport, anyone is allowed to dock up and buy from the listed merchandise inside and install a clone or corp office. I myself have moved all my modules and ammo sales to the Fortizar to help promote the citadel in the market listings, and I encourage any and all to stop by and sell any useless module or three they've got laying around from a wreck they loot in a mission site or PvP encounter.

It goes without saying that another plus to it being a citadel is it's tethering which allows users to safely dock and undock as well as making it that much more secure for those trying to bring in a jump freighter to import goods from the hisec trade hubs.

Understandably it will take people time to trust this Freeport, so all I can hope is that residents and guests of Venal give it a shot and do business inside. The market charges a flat 3% tax rate that competes with the NPC stations in system. Even with near perfect standings like me, you'll pay more broker fees in the NPC stations than in the BOSS' fortizar.

    Brotherhood of Spacers

    --------------------------------------

    https://preview.redd.it/d7wp3z7asya41.png?width=128&format=png&auto=webp&s=51194bdcebe90b016f55644ffc09de20fde3e213

I'm making this it's own section as I do owe these people a proper endorsement for the lengths they've gone to help me make the vision of making 6NJ8-V a reality.

Without delving too deep into the "backstory", I met BOSS about one and a half months ago, give or take. BOSS moved out to Y-4 in full force - something that brought me bit of concern at first as the VPN was working smoothly as a bunch of independent pilots and corps communicating with each other, now some large solidified alliance shows up and I'm just like, "Well fuck, that's concerning"

Thankfully however, people like XxNemxX and Argus actually showed interest in the ultimate vision I've had for this region. They've shown respect to those that were here first, to those that were involved with the VPN thus far.

I later, find myself attending a few fleet of theirs, and felt obligated to show my own respect in what ways I could and help out in their fleet ops. During these moments I meet more of the alliance and met some pretty interesting folk. I never chatted on comms before, but here I am joking around with them, drinking a little and having some good fucking moments with them.

Keep in mind I'm in my alt corp, I stayed away from player groups for 2 years and played solo. I eventually cave however and end up joining BOSS as they're a group that have made me comfortable enough that I started thinking I could give being apart of an actual living corp another try. I've been with BOSS proper for one month, and I gotta say I'm satisfied with my decision so far.

I'm also quite happy that BOSS is sorta RP friendly, The Fortizar has RP and lore context behind it, BOSS is in support of the Guristas - mostly for the piracy - but hey, I'm not against that either. A bunch of their members wear Guristas attire. So if you want a Guristas corp to fuck with - Star Frontiers gets you covered.

Tldr; I've met BOSS a month and a half ago, they're very easy going people, good culture, ended up joining them, having a good time so far - BOSS is recruiting.

    Check out their discord

    The pipedream of a vision.

    ---------------------

Turning 6NJ8-V into a trade hub was the easier part of a larger vision I have for this system.

I should note that BOSS doesn't actively know about this part of this vision, this is the first real time I'm being public about it and or going into detail. This part of the idea is very likely flawed and unlikely to make happen, but I still want to share it.

I want 6NJ8-V to just be a system where people chill the fuck out. NRDS? Maybe not, but maybe so? I'll say it like this, I have not the slightest clue how one could effectively enforce that in NPC controlled nullsec - It is however some unwritten rule I want established for this system. How do I sell people on that plan? Again, no idea aside from just talking about it and hoping people see merit in the idea.

What benefit could that provide? Aside from the obvious "Oh! Well then it's just safer! And people can trade more easily l", I'll give you a more in depth answer of the potential I see into this.

It would encourage people to maybe give it a shot, living in NULL without needing to commit to an alliance right away. I want to see hisec corps moving out of hisec to come live in 6NJ8-V and have a sturdy foundation to build up from and become new buyers for goods out here. And yes, I would like to see even miners left alone in this system so they can build their own goods and put them onto the market, or even sell compressed ore for other industrialists. It's NPC null, only low sec ore in the normal belts, no Veldspar either.

If you wanna frag someone in another system? Hey, so be it. I'm asking enough as it is to suggest that 6NJ8-V alone just become a neutral ground where people can co-exist. If two fleets just wanna throwdown right in the middle of 6NJ8-V? Go for it! Just don't fuck over traffic between gates and stations is all I'd ask.

This part of VPN isn't active and I won't immediately assume BOSS will be on board with this. I can see how committing to such a policy for anyone could be a bore where there's kills to be had. And especially can see how this idea may come off as just making a carebear hole for carebears in nullsec. So I will have to refine the idea some more undoubtedly, just with this Freeport opening up I figured I share more of my thoughts on the potential this system holds.

    Flash Orders

    -------------------

This is admittedly a last minute addition to this post as I've very recently came up with a small idea to add more content to what I'm doing out here.

That idea is called Flash Orders.

What are Flash Orders? RP nonsense that may be profitable and low risk.

Using the RP backdrop of the VPN, i will be making posts in the VPN thread on the Intergalactic Summit I will be posting notices of sudden need for small volume trade goods in a limited amount of time across Venal. Each flash order will have some story context behind it with buy orders up with generous payouts.

The asked for quantities will be low, but high enough to where you can't store all that's being asked in a interceptor. Bonuses will be handed out to sellers that fill out the majority of a buy order. This can come in the form of a ship hull in 6NJ8-V, or an additional cash bonus. Bonus payouts however will only be paid out if the order is fully completed, so if it expires? No bonus.

Deeper RP context and more exact details on this little niche content can be found in the IGS thread before mentioned, this will take some time to balance out profitable rewards that make it enticing for people to actually go and do, while also making it easy on my wallet at the same time.

Further alerts of flash orders will go up on my twitter feed, so keep an eye on it!

    Closing remarks

    -----------------

Building this trade hub has been the highlight of my time in EVE Online, I've met so many different players who've showed genuine interest in what I wanna do and I'm grateful for every scrap of effort they've put in.

More and more goods are starting to show up for sale in 6NJ8-V, telling me that people not even associated with the VPN are starting to come here and sell stuff. It's all coming together real nicely and only makes me more excited for 2020.

Will things flourish? Or will it all finally come crumbling down? I cannot predict the future, but I do look forward to things to come. As in the end, this whole journey in EVE will be a good memory to look back on

    Thank you r/eve

    Emerging Conduits nerfed?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 10:28 PM PST

I've been running conduits for a while now and have had varying sites but pretty consistent isk gain of 100mil an hour. Today though it seems like they have been nerfed. I've been getting close to 60mil an hour now. Did CCP nerf them?

Who else is lowkey hyped about this patch tonight?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 09:18 PM PST

    https://www.eveonline.com/article/q30yr2/seasons-greetings-from-team-talos

    Relevant excerpt:

    2020 Preview

In January and beyond we're continuing with the aim of releasing something every two weeks. Occasionally we may have release window conflicts, technical issues, or other events that might cause clashes (who is going to Fanfest 2020?), so nothing can be guaranteed. But we do have a long list of ideas for changes, which we are continuously updating and refining. So what have we got coming up in the near future?

    • Updates for Factional Warfare and Wormholes are both a big priority for early in the new year. We spoke about both of these in Vegas but weren't able to fit them into 2019 so look for them in Q1 2020.
    • Continuous work on Capital Balance and Structures. These two core systems are some of the most important we have and they are not exactly perfect at the moment. We want to keep iterating towards a healthier version of both.
    • More ship and module updates of course, including a return to module tiericide.
    • Completely new concepts and experiments! Holiday filaments definitely encourage us to keep experimenting with new ideas and we have so much more we want to try.

We are kicking off 2020 with a packed release on January 14th. I can't spoil it completely but here's a little teaser - a stocking stuffer if you will - to hold you over: [SanshaShield.jpg]

So this PACKED release was delayed until the 16th and that shit's about to drop. I'm a pretty salty piece of shit, but I'm lowkey hyped to see what Team Talos has in the works. This, along with the "Quadrants" system's first theme being PvP focused, I've got my fingers crossed.

First time in a good while I've actually felt somewhat optimistic about this.

Inb4 it's just more Gila skins.

Reminder: alliance diplomats are here to help!

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 01:55 AM PST

Hi I am the junior adjutant to head diplomat of all diplomats. This is just a friendly reminder -- we are here to help! Any complaint you have no matter how pedantic, self serving, and even if you are in the wrong, we are happy to hear about your issues. Especially deep personal issues which may or may not be game related.

If you have no personal issues, there is a reason we blued so many people. Please try your hardest to kill as many of them as possible. Your feedback on our choices of standings matters to us! Vote with your spaceweapon. If you feel we have blued another alliance corp or JF toon in error, feel free to correct our mistakes. Remember, neutral freighters are always fair game, especially when they are taking gates in our space.

Here are some quick examples for things you should definitely complain about:

    • People krabbing in 'your' system
    • People who wont let you krab in 'their' system
    • Getting made fun of for being a hopeless krab
    • People asking you for money
    • People not giving you money that you asked for
    • Getting SRP denied for fitting, for example gyrostab revelation

You can also try to get the FC to kick you from as many fleets as possible, so that you have something to complain about. Try using bubbles and microjump generators at inappropriate times to cause as much drama as possible. Be sure to use only global hotkeys to speak, and especially in an irritating manner.

If you are the CEO or director of a corporation, you are absolutely entitled to more attention. Please try your hardest to make yourself feel important, and set the tone of your complaint accordingly. Your opinions and concerns far outweigh the importance of those from an ordinary linemember.

Here at the diplo team we take all of your concerns very seriously.

How solo player friendly is this game?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2020 01:47 AM PST

Coming from albion online, what really bothered me there was, people would to avoid risks always group up as a group of 5-20 to zerg others. As solo player there is almost no way to find any solo pvp challenges. It is interesting also from a psychological pov, as imo it is probably human nature to always seek the most convinent way of doing things.

How is it in eve? Can solo player enjoy the game and have pvp?

Now i know its an online game. I see ppl brining often the argument that online games are meant to be played with others, but it can also be played against each other.

Hi ! Newbie looking for advice.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 09:44 AM PST

Hello Everyone, I recently started playing Eve on January 2 and I love this game. I have progressed somewhat faster than the average player .I do love the game and the community.Everyone has been really helpful to me.I have been podded for 5th time today while I was trying to gank in highsec and don't mind it. I would like to ask some questions and for advice.

(1)I am interested in PVP.Where should I start? I live deep in null sec,

(2)How can I make more ISK? As an alpha my options are limited .No passive ISK

(3)How can I get a mentor?I am interested in being a decoarated FC by next 2 years and lead other people.

(4)How do I manage my time between eve and real life? My vacations have been going on and I have been playing eve all day for 6-7 hours.Today my vacations end.

(5)How do I save ISK and how as an Alpha I can be self sufficient?

(6)How can I participate more and interact within eve community?

(7)When should I make another character? I think one character is enough.

(8)What is one thing to keep in mind when running and forming up fleets? What are some mistakes that new players do in fleet combat?

(9)And lastly, is it worth it to spend money on omega ?

Thanks you very much, Ayumi Nakamoto

Hi, I am a composer looking to play EVE for music inspiration.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 07:10 PM PST

Ive started as an Amarr, I just finished exploration 3/5. I am 100% an EVE virgin and im wondering if:

1: anyone can take me under their wing in a clan or whatever social structure possible (this game seems most like warframe to me so ill use those colloquiums)
2: anyone has suggestions for me to do in order to better get inspiration from EVE (I love the loneliness of a huge universe, the chaos of a space battle, and beauty in large scale.)

Im sorry if this doesnt make any sense, im just wondering if any experienced players have any suggestions for how I should go about the game based on what I am seeking from it.

    W space vs Null Sec

    Posted: 15 Jan 2020 08:32 AM PST

I'm a complete noob, played for max 3 months in 2014, recently tried the game again, been at it for roughly 20 days now.

My question: why do I feel safer in W space vs in Null Sec? In W space I can just disappear completely if I cloak up after spotting combat probes, but if I do the same in Null Sec, don't I still show up on local? On top of that Null Sec is inhabited by huge angry KOS player corps and W Space isn't. What am I missing?

Thank you all very much for the warnings :) I will stay on my toes and hope I don't meet you(r) murderous bastards out there
