Context: Ushra'Khan after having placed the first ever station anchored in EVE, again heralded a new era by anchoring the first Faction Fortizar in Low Sec (a Prometheus based on 9UY Unity station) over 18 months ago, since when it has been the sight of many great fights and lasted longer than anyone thought it would. Over a 1000 pilots in system last time saw an attack by the combined forces of CVA and Amamake crews prove unsuccessful.

Currently hordes of hapless, disorientated, religious krabs are flooding our borders after the fall of Provibloc - diverting our meagre assets as we chop their ears off for necklaces.

Now suddenly a seemingly overwhelming horde of evil automatons (Snuffed Out..? I don't know.. they're new) is at our door - reports of more supers and dreds nearby than we have pilots.... we, like most of EVE, reckon it's a goner.

Doesn't mean we aren't going to fight, in fact, the opposite.

Val'halla awaits.

Requesting help recovering old videos of a Jove battleship attacking a gatecamp

tl;dr A YouTube account with old videos of EvE gameplay has made those videos private, possibly due to being hacked. Please help me find copies or mirrors if you are able to do so.

I've been searching for old videos of EvE's history and gameplay to archive them, but sometimes I don't act quickly enough and they end up lost forever. Such was the case with the videos hosted by this account, DesertViper01; the content consisted almost exclusively of videos of EvE gameplay, but at some point back in April they were all made private and the account started mass-uploading a bunch of random music videos.

I think it may have been hacked; it's still subscribed to Rooks and Kings' and CCP's YouTube channels, and the videos are completely unlike what found there prior to the change.

I've been unable to find any copies of the videos uploaded on YouTube, and the possible copies on EVE-Files (1, 2, 3, 4) aren't viewable/downloadable due to an XML error.

(u/ChribbaX, I'm sorry to bother you, but if you could do anything to make them viewable then please let me know.)

Due to my search turning up nothing, I'm asking the r/eve community for aid. If you recognize them from the descriptions and youtube links I've provided below and know where I can find other sites they were uploaded to or even downloaded them yourself before they were made private, please send me the links to their location or copies of the download.

Of the two videos I'm interested in, the first video's page was thankfully caught by Archive.org before it went private, so you can see the description and uploader to jog your memory.

As the title says, the video shows a Jove Eidolon-class battleship attacking a gatecamp in low or null. The recording is cut with text explanations of what was happening at several points, such as how the players' reaction to seeing an Eidolon for the first time could be summed up as:

"It's a new faction! Are we at war with them?"

"No."

"FIX THAT."

The second video was found here, and I'm sorry to say that I can't remember what it consisted of, though I found the URL posted here by someone with the username "Coco", and the description leads me to believe it either showed the same incident from another player's point of view or was a continuation of the first; both were uploaded in the days when YouTube capped the length of videos at ~10 minutes, IIRC.

Again, if anyone downloaded either of these videos or knows another place I can find them, I would be incredibly grateful if you could send me a copy or direct me to the alternate location. Please help me prevent the loss of whatever parts of EvE's history that I can.

Decided to try assaulting a crab corp's C2 by my lonesome earlier. Result: 7B ransom for ref'ing 2 structures, and a few hours of relentless hole control with no assistance from anyone else, save my 3 alts. Rather pleased with how this experiment went. ^_^

I am here to speak the truth against the council of my space Lawyer. As TTT continues to thrive as one of Eve's Premier Streams, the Trash Talk Tuesday hosts are getting left behind. Redline made alot of promises in the beginning, but as the show continues to dominate Eve Online's Streaming statistics more each week, he is not fufilling his side of the bargain. We are expected to work inhumane hours, sourcing only the best Eve stories, without being provided the proper receptacles for hot beverages. We want our Mugs Redline!!!! When asked repeatedly about the status of our coveted TTT mugs, Redline responded smugly with "buy one poor @$$". This is clearly unacceptable, and while other hosts of TTT go without the comforting warmth of hot coco, undoubtedly paralysed by a growing culture of fear within the office, I must speak my truth! Having sought legal council, the following letter was sent to Redline:

That's right folks, you heard it correctly.

Chaotic Justice Alliance from the Fragmented Architects Corp CEO Sojourner Truths found a Very Large Wormhole to the Sarline system, thinking this would be a good route to get previous corp assets left in Larryn out noticed that No Forks Given alliance had an UNANCHORING Athanor. So she waited 4 days from log-in to log-off to watching the station in a T1 cloaked Badger.

Then it happened, She logged in... hit cloak and not a moment later... It dropped... an impel was 46km away from the un-anchored athanor, she decloaked and warped to the previously made bookmark. scooped it up and warped out...

To be fair, Sojourner did Self Destruct the ship and pod! The ship was before the Contract was accepted and the Pod was after the Contract was accepted. They had ample time to say thank you in local. Which did not happen; at least not by Anna Woogle.
