Botting in Faction Warfare Posted: 12 Dec 2020 08:23 AM PST Botting has become rampant in FW, and CCP appears to be doing nothing about it. Every single Coercer running this fit is a bot: https://zkillboard.com/kill/89192926/ And we can see how blatant it is by looking Coercer losses for Tribal Liberation Force: https://zkillboard.com/corporation/1000182/losses/ship/16236/ I've personally hunted and killed these bots multiple times, but when the LP payout of one plex is enough to cover the cost of their whole fit, what's the point... Ice Belt Spawns Broken? Posted: 12 Dec 2020 08:13 AM PST So, everyone was up in arms about the changes a couple days ago with regards to death clones and drone changes. CCP also changed ice belt respawn mechanics, supposedly for the better, so that the ice belts would "instantly respawn somewhere else in the game" rather than respawn in the system a couple hours later or whatever. What that has meant for me in [null region], after the ice belts were mined out the first time four days ago, I haven't seen one respawn in our space out of like 10-12 eligible belt systems which previously reliably had belt spawns multiple times a day. Previously, ice mining had been a great way to make isk despite the ore changes, and now my choices are to either mine tons of Arkonor or Bistot (with shipbuilding being limited by my ability to import Nocxium and Tritanium), which is hard to sell on the market since no one needs it, or mine nothing at all. Yoiul event days Posted: 12 Dec 2020 09:11 AM PST I like the event so far. I can do a little bit from many activites mine, fight, explore. But in my opinion the combat sites are very hard and there should be a low sp version of them. I saw wreckd t1 ships multiple times with just some weeks, months old characters. Question from a newbie/maybe-player Posted: 12 Dec 2020 08:35 AM PST Ok, so I installed Eve, gave the combat career tutorial a go... and am a bit underwhelmed, to be honest. So my question to you: Is combat in this game always just saying "circle this, kill that", with the mouse, or are there more.... interesting options later in the game?
