Shield Logi is missing a few things. Posted: 07 Nov 2019 12:14 AM PST Most importantly, a battleship hull with Shield Rep bonuses. No, the Orca doesn't count. It's fitting space is awful and it doesn't give a bonus to rep amount, only range. And 2, Shield Logi rigs. Armor gets rigs that reduce the cap cost of Remote Reps, but Shield doesn't get that. Armor was already cheaper than Shield Logi! Anyhow, if we could get like a shield version of the Nestor in the Gurista tree or something, that would be fantastic. Especially if it had something like the Loggerhead's bonus for Logistic Drones. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 06 Nov 2019 04:48 PM PST Hi guys, I have encountered a little problem. Coming back to eve after a break. My hardware didnt change at all. I use Nvidia 1060, i5 processor, win 10, dx 11 and when i play Eve i see freezes from time to time. I play 3-4 windows using ISBoxer for window management, all on min graphics settings all in windowed mode. Those freezes happen randomly on active window. They last a second or two. It seems like if i switch to any other EVE window while main one is frozen and instantly switch back to the frozen one, it unfreezes faster. This is all the info i can give at the moment. I did reasonable research and nothing really pops up. Any help is appreciated! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Nov 2019 12:33 AM PST Long story short i'm on the verge of coming back into Eve, I've got 3 alts Combat, mining & PI and Market specialised. Looking for some start up tips on making money to fund some player growth and Pew pew Is PI still worth doing in low sec ? Mining is it really only profitable in null ? Is exploration more lucrative and fun than it was 5 years ago ? Are running high sec T4's worth it ? Cheers [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Nov 2019 09:32 AM PST Waffles is Disbanding Reza and Eonan I love you, every single person that put effort into running Waffles and corps I love you. Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, and everyone else that dedicated so much time to create our awesome community throughout the years. A great group of people that shit-talk you on a daily basis is what really makes this game worth playing. I have a special place in my heart for every single member and will miss roleplaying a chihuahua online. When I first joined Waffles in 2015 I hadn't been on many big fleets before and suddenly being a part of massive fights in lowsec. Dreadbombs, and Revenants getting dropped was an amazing experience. I felt proud seeing that small lightning bolt on a yellow cross slightly reminiscent of 1941 as my alliance logo. I have experienced ups and downs in Waffles, joining PL, and the various changes the alliance went through, yet it never crossed my mind to leave the alliance, because every time I opened discord or joined a fleet I felt welcome and at home. Writing this is actually making me tear up a little, because like so many other EVE players I too struggled with some issues in reallife and just the thought of having people to meme with, feed with, have fun with and blow up some shit with helped me get through the tough days so I'd really like to thank you Eonan and you Reza again. Saying goodbye is hard and I already turned this post into a sentimental mess so I'd like to end with the announcement. [SWIGG] Reza Najafi 22:38 Uhr Firstly , the revenant loss has been srped by Reza , was completely in character of what we expect of guys in this alliance and is a complete seperate thing to what is discussed below as weve been thinking about this for a while. The game has slowly degraded over time and the commitment Eonan and I had for the game dropped and dropped and our real life commitments grew meaning we dont have the time to manage Waffles as an alliance anymore so we decided between us with senior leadership peoples that it was best to close Waffles down and merge the people who want to stay fun and focus on roaming into Wood Industries where Wood will be the ceo and we will play very much more casually. On behalf of me and Eonan , want to thank all of you guys original Waffles and post-PL for everything weve done together. We've arguably done the most out of any group in the game in terms of PvP through the old Waffles days , all through up with RC now : a no tidi titanbrawl outnumbered, 2 revanant full escalation , so many dreadbombs against alliances bigger than us , beat off everyone in lowsec and slowly grew into a powerhouse that would join PL and be subsequently killed by PL. Massive thanks to Loki whose done so much to generate fights and look after Waffles and Wood Vulcan, one of the best and in my opinion the best FC to grace this game but also Grath Telkin who was the greatest grandpa we could ever have asked for. The stuff weve done wouldnt have been possible without so many core people in the scouting group and leadership such as Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, and countless others and our bros Rekkingcrew and Horde. We are honestly very proud of what this alliance is done and want to thank you all and those who flew with us (Sniggwaffe and Wood Industries) for all the dank frags. o7 [link] [comments] |

Posted: 06 Nov 2019 08:26 PM PST Hey peeps. Been away from Eve for a while. Last time I played, having multiple alts online on the same machine at the same time was legal, so long as you're Omega on all the accounts involved and so long as you don't automate comands. So no sending one command to all your sessions at the same time, no botting, none of that. But if you point and click, all's good. Is that still the case now? Did the google thing and I can't find anything on the issue that's super recent, so just checking before I risk getting myself into trouble. :P [link] [comments] |

Content for getting friends interested in Eve Posted: 06 Nov 2019 05:36 AM PST Hey guys, I'm returning after a few years away because some good friends who for the longest time had decided Eve was boring have finally agreed to give it a fair chance. I'm still a bit dazed by their sudden change of heart but need to make the most of it. So currently we are 2 brand new caldari alpha accounts and me. I have ~50m SP and am also going to remain Alpha state for the time being out of solidarity. I can already fly much more than them, I don't want to widen the gap even further by bringing t3 ships to everything. What do you guys think would be the best plan to give them quick exposure to the most fun parts of the game? I've always been into exploration and wormholes because of abundant solo content and I enjoy scanning, but I can't think of anything my friends can be doing in that career that is productive. Scanning sites isn't exactly a group activity since only I can do it effectively. A WH corp certainly wont want them. Eve is always most fun with a bit of fear and your ship on the line so my instinct is to apply to a newb / alpha friendly corp and venture out to try the null sov life, or perhaps get into FW. I have never been involved in either so would be a fun learning experience for me too. My main conundrum is what can we do as a small low skillpoint average fleet to make some decent isk that is fun for everyone and not just them watching me blow stuff up. Ratting and getting them to salvage was a thought but it doesn't take 2 people to salvage. Anyone got any advice? [link] [comments] |
