    [zkill] ESI issues tonight - caused zkill to "pause"

    A feature I worked into zkillboard several years ago was that if there are less than 100 people online, that means the game is generally not online or in some sort of testing status. Well tonight that came back to bite me in the butt.

    Seems ESI is reporting there are 0 people in the game, despite the game being online and lots of folks doing their thing. zkill did just what it was supposed to do: nothing. So, for the last several hours, no kills were being loaded from everyone's submitted APIs.

    Sorry about that, I've temporarily disabled the purposeful shutdown for now so that the killmails will load.

    NullSechnya Sholupen. A Public Contract!

    Hello Everyone!

    Today I am announcing to you all a public contract on NullSechnaya Sholupen. Currently they reside in Cache in space no one really cares about and have some moderate infrastructure but more importantly love to throw around their supers and titans with little to no consequence on those who cannot really fight for themselves like Federation Uprising, Vindictive, and other TAPI D-squad color-guards.

    For anyone interested or whichever alliance takes the final blow I will pay out that alliance ISK out of my own wallet that directly damages NSH or anyone they currently associate with (Iron Armada (They are the newbie alliance for NSH), Other mouthbreathing kitey bitches)

    All you have to do is contact Garric Shadowbane in game with a mail and the linked killmail of the pilot from NSH (or associated counter part). They have also recently announced an Esoteria deployment so for those of you gankers in between here and there that looks like a solid option to pick off some idiots.

    Background Story?

    Unspoken Alliance, Forsaken Empire, Rote were working together for a short term on creating content in the surrounding regions of Tribute. I allowed a few NSH members access to my alt renter corp to help them make ISK so they could sustain the losses a bit bitter than currently NPC space was offering to them.

    They then decided when they wanted to flip sides and work with Iron Armada, and and start shooting against forsaken empire blues Federation Uprising and Vindictive against my diplomatic agreements and use a character in my alt corporation to spy on Federation Uprising which essentially sealed the reset. After the reset took place Admiral Wheeler and Anure threatened to release logs of me apparently moving supers and titans for them with my imperium characters.

    They think they have dirt on me but they really don't because they are bad.

    As a result from obviously not being a cockbag enjoy your public contract.

    Saw an ad for this game and really thought it looked cool, but I feel like playing as a wanderer, kinda like the bard character in league . Always wanted a game to just explore and this seems to be it, and the fact that I know next to nothing about the game and all of its history makes me want to wander the map even harder.

    But I know that there are a lot of market things and pvp stuff that I dont really know about so I just wanted to ask the player base if what I want to do is viable and if it is and you have any tips on what I should try to do, please let me know

    What is going on with the Tranquility Servers?

    What is up with the Tranquility Server? I was just booted (luckily my Orca made it back to base with its cargo) but my Combat Battlecruiser isn't so lucky. I rebooted and not all i get from the CCP launcher is a 'network' issue. my network is fine, my work PCs are just fine.

    anyone else being booted?

    [CCPlease] Kill ESI public contracts bots.

    For those who are not aware.
    You have public ESI endpoints that allow you :

    • to get list of public contracts
    • check the content of each contract

    What this means that without logging to game you can browse by public contracts - "evepraisal" the contracts with your local database and see what are "undervalue" ... and if this was not enough you can open such contract in eve client and quite easily using "undetectable third" party app click accept on such contract

    This is leading to excessive "fire sale bots" that are logged across the eve and battle with other bots for firesale or badly priced contracts.

    Those are usually dedicated corporations but there is also plenty "unconnected" characters.

    For example person running this small corporation is hunting for a fire sales 24/7, it don't need sleep

    Those are real "firesales" items that people didn't add "000" or quite often have 50% or less in real asset value.

    Like if we are at war with bots - can we do something ?
    We expected that this will happen

    Important part here in this example you are looking at contract from around the EVE, almost char /pre "worthy" region

    I know that you can scrap the memory to have faster info about the contracts, but also this is a "legitimate" way that you can do it, no one will be able also to detect you if you automate clicking of a single button using simple screen OCR app.

    Another (we need love) lowsex post!

    Just got linked a new site (thanks Kazen), Drifting Loot. Don´t know much about the site but it seems cool with easily accessible information. And we, Know-Nothings, are number 1 in kills (in lowsec) on there atm so thats awesome. Especially since we just reformed but our excellent team keeps growing and pewing so shout-out to the group. Been much fun.

    But that isn´t really why I wrote this post (even though I want people to know about us).

    My intention is rather to show people that low sec is alive, that people living in HS and NS that want to take a leap can do so. For the longest time the concentration of players have been focused in those areas and I think a lot of people are just stuck in routines.

    What the pandemic however has shown us is that routines can change and also should at times. So to all the players out there, take a minute to think about what you want from this game. And start making changes aligned with your interests instead of just logging in to do what you have always done.

    Hopefully your interests are chaotic content and that´s what LS is for. If not, also cool, hope you guys have as much fun as you can have in whatever you´re doing.

    There is however no denying that LS has issues which have been talked about by much smarter people than me. So this is also a friendly reminder to CCP that the capabilites of taking care of players in LS exist, but we need a way to attract them. This is where you guys come in. Please, remove your focus from NS for a bit and start looking at other areas.

    I firmly belive that the lack of low sec reps on the CSM has created this situation.

    So this is also a plea to the people in low sec that genuinly wanna run for the CSM, write a short comment with your thoughts (hopefully people will upvote them for visibility) so we know your names and ideas.

    It´s also a plea to the null blocs, you guys control the votes. If you find someone saying smart stuff about LS, please, put them high on your voting lists. We don´t need this many nullsec reps and you know it. Give other people a chance to improve their areas because it will lead to a better game.

    And in the end, we are all playing the same game and benefit from its improvement.

    Lastly even though I´m very proud of my corps accomplishments (thanks to an awesome CEO, a lovable FC team and fearless and patient members) I want to take the time to give love to all of low sec. You guys rock and we don´t need any stats to tell us that. A big shout-out to Waffles and their homecoming to Kinakka, looking forward to more fun. Chikuns that also live here, much love.

    Great people and highly recommended crews.

    Why do people have 39M+ buy orders for shadow serpentis reactor control unit’s when dark blood reactor control unit is less than 10M? They are both exactly the same in stats.
